thanks a lot... was finally settled on carbonized gray but now black is back in the mix ?
just have to keep reminding myself that black will be dirty by the time I make it to my garage from the carwash...
edit: pics meant to be humor. 99% taking a Bronco home unless they don't allow brush guard, sound dampening and paint protection with the 2.7 Sasquatch!
But everything we've seen thus far has been a "concept" vehicle, right? They could change anything at any time between our deposit and delivery, so we should at least have the option to have our deposit plus reservation fee refunded if we don't like the final product.
Hate to say it but I'm nearly with you. These last few days I've almost seemed to be talking myself into staying with the Bronco as opposed to just leasing a Wrangler or 4runner for a few years until we really see what the Bronco is made of.
Pretty scary dropping $65k on a first year vehicle...
I'd agree with you here, but the B&P let's us add a winch but not a brush guard? The winch HAS to weigh more than the brush guard. If this decision ends up being final there must be a serious reason... serious enough to get me to wait for a '22 or Warthog.
Can any wrangler owners chime in about the noise of the soft top? I'm wondering about that low frequency booming/fluttering some vehicles get when the windows are down and the sunroof/top is open. I'm hoping the mesh top doesn't have enough 'give' to cause pressure changes which translate to...
Couldn't agree more. I know several people who are planning on ordering 2+ Broncos then just taking home the winner without caring about losing 1-200, even 500 bucks. Along with the $2-5k down payment there should be an automatic delay to 2022 on your 2nd, 3rd Bronco so the rest of us have a...
Reviving this thread :)
I'm assuming the factory top-mounted light bar requires the purchase and installation of the roof racks as well? From the B&P pics it looks like it installs directly onto the racks... This means it can't be used with the soft top bimini?
Hence an aftermarket solution...
For what it's worth, this is what my dealer told me:
"Most or all of the incoming models will be preordered. So, the only models available to see would be those coming in for customers that ordered them. If a customer drops out of an order, then potentially, that model will be available to...
Strongly considering switching to Granger with my 7/15 reservation. There are so many threads on 6g with ever-changing info so I'm still trying to figure out if it's still even possible to switch this late.
If I can, I'd be very interested in joining you guys!
I've since found that thread, thanks! It's obviously a good deal but depending on the time of year my Bronco is delivered, the trek back to the west coast through the winter might be crazy. Probably worth it since I'm loading up with accessories.
Might sound snobbish but honestly I think most enthusiasts know that the majority of the ones removing their badges are those who might be embarrassed about their trim... I mostly see it on Land Rovers, BMW's and Audi's mostly because I'm familiar with them and can tell by the other features on...
Standard for Vegas, should have specified. My main point was this dealership not marking up over MSRP, but I'm sure the $274 savings in doc fees by picking up in Granger will be worth the 1700 mile/24 hour drive +gas +hotel +mileage for you! :) Hope you get a group delivery.
One of the Vegas dealerships promised no markups and a standard $499 doc fee. Easy drive to SoCal if you're saving a few grand by not paying over MSRP in cali!
