I think the context is fair from a dealer-perspective. But we're literally talking about folks ordering and building a specific model for them. I think that's different and in that context and from that customer-focused perspective, this makes almost zero sense.
Just to piggy back--not a single piece of information they have released, including anything on any website, graphic, etc.--would indicate the auto-only restriction. Not a single bit.
We're talking about an optional package that can be added to a build. If the dealer wants to buy a lot of a package that doesn't sell, that's on them. But depriving the consumer of the option seems silly.
Having the factory do the wheels and the lift means you're covered by the factory warranty and therefore you avoid all sorts of headaches that such a modification causes consumers.
Also, no idea if they'll sell those extended flares separately, apart from the Sasquatch package.
Yup. We have months before ordering happens and then a wait. I would expect a company of Ford's pedigree to be able to handle a simple excel sheet change.
