I wish. I got pushed to 12/13 too, but seems we’re locked in to our 21 color. I don’t really mind getting a MY21 in 2022, but damn they added 6 colors to base and I like about 5 of them better than any 21 base color.

Oh interesting, I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully it's just a harmless mistake on their part and you're still in line for 12/6. I was scheduled for 12/6 also, but the backdoor link is now showing me as 12/13 (still MY21), so there's definitely some weirdness going on around the MY22 changeover date.

Who told you "most likely" 22? From what you wrote in the post it seems like your online tracker is just a little messed up.

Back on 9/30, I got scheduled for 12/6 and got a MY21 VIN. Decided to run my res through that link in this thread and now it's showing "Scheduled for Production Week of 12/13/2021". I haven't received any emails from Ford since 9/30 so that's interesting.

Did you do this before or after 10/1? My dealer told me the option to switch colors closed on 10/1.

Supposedly people were able to in the past, but post 10/1 ("balance out date"), you can no longer do it for MY21. At least that's what my dealer told me when I asked for the same. Let me know if you hear differently!

Lol most here are still waiting on reservations made a full year before your order. You might get lucky and get it soon if you have a build with no constraints, but chances are you have a long wait ahead. You’ll need to resubmit and order for 2022 with your dealer also.

I know from some people who ordered cars from Tesla that they can get a VIN unassigned in the case of production delays and then get a new VIN assigned. I'm sure it would be a bureaucratic headache for Ford to do it, but if they can't get all the assigned MY21 broncos out the door by the MY22...

I believe the painted flares are only on the outer banks trim. If you get a BD or Badlands, etc, you can go non-squatch and get the MIC flares. Factory black logo only comes on Wildtrak trim, but it should be pretty easy to black out the logo yourself. But yeah, totally agree, black...

Same boat. A quick “FYI we take back what we said, you actually might get scheduled for MY21, make any changes now” would have been great. Even worse when you get the surprise scheduling on the day after they stop allowing color changes on scheduled orders.
