  1. Reservation program ends for the Bronco - No NEW Reservations

This is good news for those of us with reservations. Looks like only new "ORDERS" will get a timestamp (taking those with RESERVATIONS and no ORDER off the table). Also, really good for the DEALERS as well.
  2. 2022 ordering Model Change

September 13. Everyone please SWITCH - that opens up more capacity in 21 for me!
  3. Will the 4 door 2022 Bronco come with rear AC vents?

If you just released a product and you got 125,000 pre-orders for it, would you change much? I think not.
  4. Production Week Scheduling - 8/16

Question: So, what's your best guess as to what happens on September 13th when MY22 Orders open? Since MY22 production doesn't begin until Mid-December, I'm wondering how many folks with soft-top orders will change their order for new features/colors on the MY22 Bronco? I think I'm going to...
  5. Broncos stored as far as one can see @ Wayne, MI 🔭

Yep. That's bad. I can't defend Ford on that one... Question: Is it paid-for because you had to close out payment 30 days prior to delivery (and then the delivery got pushed)? Asking because I want to be wary if/when I get a delivery date...
  6. Broncos stored as far as one can see @ Wayne, MI 🔭

I guess what I'm saying is that Ford has explained the issue... The MIC top has problems. And, they've gone so far as offering an alternative (substitute the soft-top and get it pre-wired for the hard top).
  7. Hammock swag gift thread

Anybody get their SWAG yet? What is it?
  8. Upgrade to basequatch? Or stay base

STAY BASE! I ordered the Base (soft-top) on my Dealer's recommendation of availability. I am also finding that no matter what other people order they are customizing the crap out of their Broncos (just look at all the threads in here). That means that there is a wealth of good, slightly used...
  9. Broncos stored as far as one can see @ Wayne, MI 🔭

While this looks really bad, let's see if we can rationalize what is going on here. The Ford numbers for JULY showed a bit more than 6K Broncos manufactured, but only a bit more than 3K sold. This lot could represent that difference. With the line down for 2 weeks in July that would indicate...
  10. Dealership has stolen my Bronco!!

Same here - for some reason, the customer ordered vehicles show up on AutoTrader. When you call they say that's a customer ordered vehicle and they try to cross-sell you. I should've asked why they posted a vehicle that already belongs to someone else...
  11. Bronco production update 8/9: Commodity issues far beyond MIC tops. Chip shortage reaches Bronco supply chain (NO COVID TALK)

It would seem to me that it's in Ford's best interest to work with Webasto on the quality problems. You can't just turn suppliers on a dime (at least not at the quantity that would be required). An outright dumping of Webasto creates multiple problems - 1) Webasto has no incentive to help, 2)...
  12. Bronco production update 8/9: Commodity issues far beyond MIC tops. Chip shortage reaches Bronco supply chain (NO COVID TALK)

Agreed. It's clear that they have maybe thousands (?) in the hold lot waiting for new tops, so those have to be prioritized (I don't see how they could possible be 'repaired'). Then FE's also need to be prioritized. That means no MIC tops for other new builds. I'm betting that we'll see 4...
  13. Bronco production update 8/9: Commodity issues far beyond MIC tops. Chip shortage reaches Bronco supply chain (NO COVID TALK)

I think the issue is that they CAN build some of the lower models, so the reservation number is going to become meaningless. It would seem to me that Ford would just want to get any car they CAN build out the door. So, no 2 doors (since that requires a MIC top) and only 4 doors with Soft-Top.
