Yeah, I think a pretty good chunk of the 9/13 orders were shifted to 10/11. I was originally shifted to 11/1, but was then rescheduled to 10/11.

Since they are moving around so much, my guess is that Ford is dammed if they do, dammed if they don't.
I suspect the moving around has more to do with resources addressing the hard top replacements. I believe constraints is now a secondary issue.
At this point I doubt it. It appears the scheduling is still in flux. I was pushed from 9/13 last week to 11/1 and I am now at 10/11. My guess is that it may continue to change while MAP is dealing with the additional task of migrating to MIC 2.0.
Since the load rating for E tires is way higher than the stock tires, airing them down can help smooth out the ride. I learned years ago about the chalk test after upgrading to 35s on my Jeep. This helped a great deal and made the on road driving characteristics way more bearable.
I am truly happy for the dirt mountain folks. @Ford Motor Company appears to be completely shooting from the hip on this as it looks like they had no idea they would be processing the hard top 2.0 3 weeks ago when they scheduled our orders.
This may actually be designed this way on purpose as this makes a serviceable breakaway point. If this was stronger it would shift the issue to the tailgate panel itself resulting in a more expensive repair. I am in no way shape or form defending Ford's engineering choices, but coming from the...
Call the Ford Marketing Dept at 800-334-4375 or reach out to your dealer. @Ford Motor Company does not seem to be sending out emails regarding the changes.
Unfortunately, everyone I know that was scheduled for next week was pushed at least a week as long as 7. Looks like I drew the short straw and was pushed 7 weeks to 11/1.
I am seeing several posts on FB about 9/13 orders being rescheduled. @Administrator it is looking like MAP maybe shutting down next week or at the very least decreasing production. I am wondering if the news of the pending hard top shipments is affecting next week’s production.
My build was rescheduled to the week of 11/1. I am pretty bummed. I am a soft top order, original schedule email received 8/19. 7/14 res. I though Ford would be getting on a roll and bust out the soft top orders, guess I thought wrong.
Kind of a crazy idea. If there are any polytechnic vocational schools in your area, you can reach out to them to see if they are up for a challenge. I recently visited the PolyTech school my son is interested in and they had some large 3D printers.
@manualT You may find this helpful. For the record, I did not notice any issue with the brakes on this demo unit.

I am thinking they will more than likely keep the 4.7 or at best bump to 4.88. I tried to push the question to MLevine when they posted the Mansquatch pictures recently. Understandably. I did not get a response. I am thinking gearing would have been on of the things in their testing matrix.
