I'm ecstatic. What I wanted was an open air style suv that's a bit smaller than a full size bronco, but bigger than a 2 door jeep, for mid $30k or less, and it looks like ford checked off all of my "must haves" in the base model without even checking an option box
The accessories we have seen...
Though I would like it to be an option, honestly driving the 2.7 in my f-150 is better in every way except sound than the 302 trucks I test drove (granted, they were heavier than the 2.7, and I live in CO, so forced induction is king here)
I also wouldn't be surprised if adding the sasquatch package makes them profitable, how many base 2 door models do you expect to see without that? The base 4 door looks like it will cost almost the same as the big bend 4 door too.
That is the fridge, the motortrend article has a lot more pictures on it. Thankfully looks like the 2 door will have a semi-decent amount of cargo space!
Edit: here's the article I mentioned
https://www.motortrend.com/cars/ford/bronco/2021/2021-ford-bronco-first-look/
so, all the specs are up on the ford website, I'm so happy the 2 door has a 100" wheelbase, and more storage (roughly double) than the 2 door wrangler! also, all the features I want look like they are optional on the base model, fantastic ford, well done!
Hmm, white roll cage, but shown with a soft top, I wonder if that roll cage implies a white top option perhaps?
edit: never mind, that is definitely a hardtop in the first pic, hopefully tonight I will know if I will need to get the top wrapped or not...
Am I the only one who didn't like the power rear windows? Both my gen 4 and gen 5 had long running issues with them, in my experience it was the least reliable part of the vehicle
(Though i will admit it was pretty great being able to roll it down along with the other windows while moving for...
also notice that the cargo bay has a downward slope at the back, just above the slot for the tray, possibly for the same reason? (As well as making loading easier)
it looks like the entire interior may be really good for water drainage.
Hahaha, fair point.
I figured the roosterville airport comment and then a username with KC in it was a giveaway (plus the direct messaging comment from a new account meant it had to be a dealer who was already on here)
