The shade does not flop around much at highway speed and I would say does not add to the noise at all. If anything, it cuts down the wind a bit for the rear passengers.

Yes, we actually had the hard top completed installed before we noticed. We are removing the top in the pic for the swap. This was the inspiration for the write-up.

Really shouldn't be much of an issue for the soft top to hard top...as long as they have the hard top prep kit.

Since the soft top donor had the hard top prep kit, no additional items were required.
