I'm paying off four debts within the next year. I have one kid off the payroll. I've never bought something just for me/fun. I've gotten permission from the wife to buy and have been told not to cheap myself out of it. I will drive this thing for at least 10 years, so it's around for a while...
16 Focus 5 speed. No issues with cruise. Get to your speed and set it. Cruise come off when you press the brake or the clutch. Big hills you have to down shift to go up, but I'm talking serious mountain roads.
I'm seeing lots of posts on Facebook of broncos in various places. Missouri, Michigan, on some sand dunes, Mississippi (the other day). It's like a great migration to some magical watering hole.
Anyone tracking these in one spot?
I checked with John at Purvis about the destination charge this morning:
x plan is the best deal to go with for the vehicle. Destination is a charge already applied to every vehicle. Most dealers break it out as a false discount and add it later as a fee. I believe that to be deceiving.
I hope it's a stand alone. I really dont want to upgrade to lux for it. But with the top down at 80+ mph driving cross country, I'll need as much sound as possible.
Each car in my driveway has a a name. Bertha or Fat Ho is the E350. Jolene is the Tundra. Lil B is the F150. Fuckus is my Focus.
A name will come for the bronco when she gets here.
This is good information for those of us that have been wondering. Sadly, I want the badlands more for the LED signature lighting and upgraded suspension than the front locker. That being said, there are places that I want to go that I can't get to now, so I think rear lockers are a must have...
Manual is fun. End of story. While I enjoy my wife's tundra, given the choice, I'm rolling out of the house in my 5 speed focus. And if my son let's me, i enjoy driving his 4 speed 86 F150.
Again. Manual is fun. And the bronco isn't being bought for sensibility. It's being bought for fun.
