This might be a dumb question. Sometimes when I'm going fast and I need to slow down to a lower speed limit, I pop the clutch into neutral and coast. Would the engine cut off then?
I would be very interested in a 2.7L paired with a manual transmission, however I wouldn't get it the first year it was offered, as Ford would have to start from designing it. However, Ford is recycling what they already have with the current setup. I'm getting the 2.3L with a manual because...
Albert, what's your favorite beer? Imagine all 1000+ of us showing up at Granger throughout 2021/22 with a 6-pack for ya. You'll never have to buy another beer ever ?
If not beer, my wife makes great banana bread. She likes to add choc chips, but I prefer it without. Just let me know, I could...
What would be the application of a wide area display that big in a car be for? I know it's definitely usable in a combat aircraft, because of the multiple sensors being employed at once. But even in aviation, sensory overload is a thing, and requires some proficient training of the world's best...
The technology going into 5th gen is unreal. Pilots aren't even pilots, they're more just operators at that point.
I sure hope there's still some back up analog gauges being added! Or at least a bunch of redundancy built into the electric system. That bottom picture I'm imagining flying 500...
The jokes write themselves. Thanks for the morning chuckle
I can't imagine 12" will ever be small in the future. This is a car after all, not a living room. What're they gonna do, replace the windshield with a 60" flat screen? Haha
I fly fighters in the air Force and I could definitely see...
Wait, I could've swore they kept referring to the new Goodyear tire as Mud Tire
I just watched it two days ago again, and specifically was confused by that because I read online (here probably) that it stood for Max terrain so who knows
Great post OP. If anything, it was just nice seeing a compiled list of the colors matched with squatch for comparison. I agree I wish there was a good carb gray photo available as that's one of my final choices.
This is the first photo of cactus gray I actually felt a little something stir up...
Interesting, I didn't know all that. I've always just had a block heater but they were older cars. What design considerations went into using -18C as the threshold? Is anything warmer than that considered acceptable to not have an engine heater/anything colder than that it's recommended to have...
I just started my family. My wife is okay with the fact that her car will be the "people mover" and my car will rarely see passengers. She also really wants to learn to drive a manual... So 2 door manual for the win!
