Only for the advanced 4x4 and beefier suspension components. I don't like the tires or wheels at all. And I would not have had my Cactus Gray. All in all, not really regret I just wish the advanced 4x4 could have been an option on my build without SAS.
I had the Bestop access bimini on my 4dr for over a year. Rarely took the 2nd row panel off, and it was kind of a pain to attach/detach the front header when taking off the front panels. The front doesn't attach that well either, and flaps a bit. I ended up removing it this week when I got my...
It does take a bit to load up, and often fails to connect on it's own. But once it's connected it's pretty smooth with good performance. One thing I did notice (and the same with Android Auto) is that when connected wireless, Google Maps navigation is hella slow and lags so bad I had to switch...
Cactus Gray and I fell in love at a dealer preview event a few months before I took delivery of my Bronco in 2021. I immediately changed my order from a Base to Big Bend so I could have it - and nothing has changed. If I had to buy a new one today I'd pick the same color.
If you really like the 2dr, and don't think people will be in the back seat other than rare occasions, then go for the 2dr. You can always use a cargo carrier or come up with a creative way to carry more stuff. Or bring less stuff. Listen to your gut on which to choose. And I'm a happy 4dr owner :)
Honestly, if it were mine I'd just push them to total it. Anything with significant frame repairs and I'm going to walk away. I know it's hard when you probably waited a long time to get it and are super excited, but these repairs will take forever to complete and kill the resale value of it anyway.
I also thought of blacking out the curved part inside - will be curious to see how this looks when someone does it. But I'm keeping my stock round fenders anyway. Because I'm too cheap to buy something that doesn't give me a functional upgrade :ROFLMAO:
I've found both Carplay and Android Auto to be somewhat buggy with the Bronco. With several different Android phones and my iPhone 14PM. For me, wired is worse than wireless. Weird stuff always seems to happen when trying to connect wired. It's fine like 80% of the time I'd say, but the other...
Interesting. Honestly I've found the stock 2.3L to have plenty of power and torque, but I also have the 4.27 gearing with the e-locker. I seriously doubt you have a transmission problem. I've heard good things about the tune as long as you don't mind running high-octane gas all the time. Also...
Very strange. I live in San Diego and have had my Bronco since Aug 2021 and don’t see any of this. The only rust I’ve seen is on some exposed iron stuff in the undercarriage - nothing unusual.
15K miles and no issues really. Annoyances? Here you go:
1) Double honk when exiting with the keys in my pocket.
2) Climate controls - it never wants to stay on recirculate unless blowing cold AC.
3) Drive train feels a bit sloppy to me. I LOVE the 2.3L motor though and would not change it to...
Love my e-load Klever AT2s. Run them at 40psi too.
Oh, and there was that time when I pulled a 2" lag bolt from the tread and it didn't even need a patch.
I didn't notice much of a difference in how smooth they ran vs. the stock Duelers either.
Maybe the G2's are just super stiff.
As someone mentioned, check the member marketplace for take-offs. Not sure if the 35” will fit a stock BB without a lift though. Personally, I’m not a fan of the stock sas wheels and tires and would go aftermarket for them.
If you have a non-sasquatch Big Bend as I do, start with the tires. I upgraded to some real 33" AT tires on the stock wheels and that was the biggest bang for the buck upgrade to both aesthetics and performance.
