very helpful. Are you considering getting side steps for the 2 door to assist the kids? One of the vids I saw was that it was tough for the kids to climb in. Not sure if they sell oem side step for 2 door. 2.3 or 2.7?

I also prefer the 2 door from a visual look. Going for a 2.3 or 2.7? I’m wait for the gremlins and roof to be sorted out. Also want a painted roof as the Florida sun will blast it gray immediately.

The jeep is probably one of the least safest vehicles tested, I’ve never understood how it didn’t earn a poor overall rating. The 4 door jeep rolled on the same test, it’s the only vehicle I’m aware of to have done that. Jeep said it was tested improperly so they re-tested and same thing happened.

sorry I am not understanding regarding the crash bars. Is this an after market item? Why do people keep talking about it not having a crash bar.

this is exactly my scenario. It seems like no biggie but do wonder if I’ll feel differently after a few months. Also, I have a family sedan right now and there is definitely some lower back stress with doing that. Hopefully you get yours soon and remember me a few months after to check back in.

Thanks for the response. Dealer hasn’t had any two doors to test this. They’re still in car seats, but aren’t infants.
