I did the PCM "RELEARN" at the dealer at the first oil change - no more P160A error - everything is stable. The guy seemed knowledgeable enough, but I had to walk him through what I did. His comment to me was "okay, now FORD knows you have bigger tires" - yipee!
I don't think the PCM error...
No, I wouldn't expect the Bronco front shackles to fit the rear. The rears have a slight bend downward to avoid the bumper. It looks like the alternative Ford shackles that I was thinking of trying on the rear are straight across the top and look like they would hit the rear bumper (although...
Wes Crowe (Sales Manager) at Covington Ford was great! Kept me updated regularly on e-mail and was a pleasure to work with. When I went to pick up my Bronco, I was in and out in 20 minutes (MSRP).
TOW HOOK - you'll just have to look around. I got lucky and found a take-off from JCR Offroad (they were installing a new bumper that already had hooks on it for another customer).
PAINT - BEHR "No More Drama" Spray Can (sold at Home Depot - it was better than I thought it wolud be since it's...
Yes, you can definitely tell the difference... I did the left speakers first and compared the left and right channels. Make sure to set your tone controls (increasing bass and treble). I can turn the volume up much higher now without distortion (obviously important in a convertible).

I did not use a bracket, although I have seen a video of someone who 'replaced' their existing fog lights with the BAJA designs lights (using the mount points that already exists on the inside of the bumper). So, I know it's possible to mount them - the problem would be aligning the hole you'd...
The lenses are interchangeable, so I wasn't too worried about that - I went with CLEAR CORNERING, but could always switch to AMBER. I don't have AUX switches. PIC with lights on...
I tapped the BAJA wiring harness to the LOW BEAM Driver's Side Headlight wire (BROWN/BLUE), so my S1's come on with the low-beam. I guess I could have used the switch harness and added a switch to the dash, but I didn't like the idea of having to turn it on and off separately.
THIS ONE...
Theres a video on how to remove the headlights here:
There are 8 push pins and 4 bolts to remove the grill, remove the fender flares, pop the lower panel snaps out, and there are 3 bolts holding the headlight. Took me about 20 minutes to do both. …just plug the cable in and they work…
I didn't take many pictures before the build - frankly, the BASE looks a bit squatty... I had intended all along to go the upgrade route (having even purchased the wheels and tires before it arrived). Reading the BRONCO6G blog gave me ideas and I made my plan. Almost got STEPS, but like the...
