I really wasn’t hoping to find out, but I guess tomorrow I get to find out how good their customer service is.
Removed the hardtop today, opened up the Trektop boxes, laid everything out, and got about 30 minutes into the install before I realized they shipped me a 2 door Trektop though I...
Had a great time. The Moab diner wasn’t bad for breakfast. Their skirt steak skillet was pretty delicious. Had pizza at Moab Canyon Pizza Co… it was bomb delicious. Another night had the fish and chips at the Moab Brewery… pretty good but the onion rings were WOW so good!
Brought the...
Mine was a 630 day wait from reservation to delivery. But it didn't drive me nuts because I knew it would take some time so I was patient and didn't even think about it until I received my VIN. It was only then that I allowed myself to start getting excited. I wasn't pining over it in this...
Installing my Trektop this weekend (to seasonally replace the MIC top). I wanted the best of both worlds with the hard top and a soft top. I can't get over the look of the soggy, saggy OEM soft top. I know looks are subjective, but IMO the Trektop hands down looks better. The OEM soft top I...
I have always felt the opposite. I feel they take the same old same old paint and gives it a punch… a little extra something that doesn’t get lost in the reflection of every light. When I had my Bronco in the shop I thought it was out of place amongst the multiple Porsches, Benzes, Maseratis...
Did the matte/stealth XPF on my cactus gray and love it!
Since I plan on using this thing as intended, it was well worth the price to protect the paint. Mudflaps (and these rock rails) will only do so much on the trail and neither are going to protect on tight trials with limbs and brush.
Now that is a great, affordable solution. Thanks for sharing. I'm going to do one on each side for a total of two since I've got the under-the-hood compressor and would like to keep easy access to that.
I’ve heard people complain about that part. I thought “how hard can they really be?” And while not hard… they are a bit of a PITA. After wrestling with them for about 5 minutes with a ratcheting wrench, I ended up using the cordless ratchet with a deep socket and it took care of them in seconds...
I'd have the Honda's insurance just replace the end-cap. Cheap. Easy. Might take a little while to find one, but like others said... wear that one with pride until then.

Looks like you already found one above! ^^^
Yes and yes.
They give you about 5.5” in width to step on… more than enough width to prevent the (average vehicle’s) door from dinging your door. I say average vehicle because it won’t prevent a truck lifted even higher than yours from dinging your door.
Thanks for that. Paints a better picture. Without your post I would have just assumed most flaps would work because it looks like there is plenty of room... but maybe not without some modification.
If it isn't too much of a hassle... would love to see a pic of your installation to see where the interference is/was and how it looks after your heat gun remedy.
They do. If yours has the factory rock sliders... these bolt on using the same attachment points and same bolts. If yours doesn't have the factory rock sliders, these will still attach in the same fashion but you'll have to order a plate kit with it since the factory rock sliders have those...
