Laughing at the color names! Molten Metal, Anodized Bronze... Lady those are both plastic parts.
Designers crack me up with the whole "new black color every year" thing.
Man that looks sharp! The blackout on the turn signal cover cleans up the front end nicely.
I wonder about getting a Black Diamond grill and painting the surround but leaving the center unpainted so that the MIC black tanks most of the rock chips.
So I think your plan of bolting it in will work, the backside of the fastener can be accessed by bending the inner cover. I would recommend a fender washer on both sides, as the hole the factory fasteners install in is rectangular.
To answer your other question, I did use the factory bolt kit...
I've considered trying to go for a Heritage build, but I haven't done so because I would want to basically paint every gray piece in Wimbledon White, and that just isn't gonna be feasible. I like the Heritage Edition look but I'm not a huge fan of having MIC gray and white accents on the same...
Plan is to leave them unpainted for the time being, but I could see Area 51 color match or black bedliner (something with texture to match the Mod bumper) looking good in the future.
With the stock tire setup the edge of the tire matches the width of the flair at the top. With your wider setup it should have a perfect amount of poke!
The goal was to get closer to the 66'-77' fender style, and these fenders more than accomplished that.
IMO this is how it should have come from factory.
This Bronco is a 2021 Big Bend in Area 51 with Mid pkg, Mod bumper/pushbar, Towing, and hardtop as the only options. It was a Ford Employee...
Does this charger setup fast charge? Looking for something like this for mine, and because I have the Tackform mount the style of charger that goes on the accessory mount won't fit.
I already have the EB style KBDbodykit flairs arriving Friday, so I'm definitely going for that retro look.
I've been playing around with getting a Black Diamond grill, keeping the inner the MIC black and painting the outer A51 to match my BB. Maybe some BD steelies with 33" KO2s as well.
My...
I have been craving a low "friendly horn" option to say hi to other vehicles without blowing out eardrums. Never thought about connecting it to the AUX switches.
I guess I need to order the retrofit parts to install AUX in my BB.
I'm almost planning the opposite build, I have a BB with the cloth seats but I want to get the Armorlite rubberized floor as well as BD steelies with 33"s, BD grill, and some rock sliders. But first I need to install some door insert pockets.
I wish I had the option to get BD from the start...
Any concerns of it pulling the oils out of plastics like Armorall? I've heard with some protectants once you start you have to reapply consistently for the plastic to look ok.
