these retarded snarky comments are annoying. Yes believe it or not people need storage in their vehicles and engineering solutions for this is not rocket science so kindly be quiet
fords 1# design goal in my opinion for the next gen bronco should be a 2 door and 4 door with fold flat and FLUSH seating so we dont have to worry about this shit
Nobody cares about rear seat quality in the 2 door just let us be able to fold it flush out of the way instead of permenantly...
I knew this was going to be a problem but its really starting to dawn on me how little space is back there. I know it "has more than wrangler" however its not even big enough for my cooler.
I think ford needs to take notice and next time they redesign this car they should 100% shoot for fold...
Benefits
1. Easy small (no footprint for some) footprint.
2. Quick to set up
3. No chance of bugs crawling in from the ground
4. Bears would have to climb onto the car to bother you (not likely)
5. potential for better view of your campground/security
Downsides
1. Higher risk of injury...
nobody should buy a soft top until ford wires all their cars for a potential hard top.
I have no idea why ford chose this.
Dont buy a soft top. Buy a hard top and a soft top later
badlands off roading chops are not just the swaybar , which is important in some situations.
but the armor it comes with that protects the underside of the car
its interesting to see the comparison between the hood in the jeep and the bronco.
can any car people confirm that the bronco would have more "engine space" than the wrangler or is it just an optical illusion?
depends on the material. If its something like thermoplastic like the roof it "could" be cheap.
However with all the hardware attachment points it likely would be impossible to do with a home setup like people do with kydex holsters.
Likely the best bet is very expensive injection molding
And...
