  1. First Month of Bronco Allocations - The Timestamp is only ONE factor

X2. I sent a text to my dealer yesterday asking for dealer allocations and my spot in them since I converted my order pretty late in the process (because I thought reservation timestamps would play a larger role in getting a Bronco faster). All I got back was ā€œWe’ve had 4 Bronco’s get...
  2. First Month of Bronco Allocations - The Timestamp is only ONE factor

Sooooo what if you have all 3? Hoping the soft top bumps me up in line a little bit. šŸ¤ž
  3. The “I didn’t get today’s email” hugging and crying thread

My dealer contact is less than enthusiastic about keeping people up to date on the status of their orders or their place in line. I brought information to him from the forums twice before he ā€œheard about it from Ford.ā€ All I heard from him was ā€œYou’ll know where your build stands come May.ā€ I’m...
  4. High Lift Jack Mount that doesn't attach to a roof rack?

ARB Jack > Hi-Lift. Yes, it’s 10x the cost but I’ve had the opportunity to use both side by side and I’m buying an ARB jack for my Bronco. If you’re on a budget, then the Hi-Lift is a good option. Make sure you familiarize yourself with how to operate it safely before doing so. Lastly, in my...
  5. The “I didn’t get today’s email” hugging and crying thread

My stimulus check came faster than Ford’s email does...here’s to another week VIN-less 😢
  6. URE (Uwharrie) Bronco Weekend get-together?

Nice job putting this together šŸ˜Ž ~No build date/VIN ~4 door Badlands SAS 2.7 ~Have been to URE several times in my old 06’ Power Wagon. Ran Daniel with that truck on 37s. Did get body damage ~Will probably run a handheld CB or handheld marine VHF radio ~Would be interested in a campsite cookout...
  7. Soft top vs MIC vs Dual

I went soft top only. Live in Eastern NC and we only really have cold weather from November to April. I can deal with the soft top for those months, and it really doesn’t get below 25 here all that often. If I lived somewhere with significant snowfall I may think differently. But for those times...
  8. TN GA NC folks get in here

    Definitely down for that šŸ˜Ž
  9. 7/14 6:45 Am time stamp. Told Yesterday I am bumped to 2022

It’s actually pretty sweet. Would be even better on 37s and a 3ā€ lift. I’m not brand loyal. I want a Bronco but if Ford keeps fumbling the release then that’s on them. I have wheeling trips already planned this fall. Hotels booked, etc. I’m either taking the Bronco or I’ll buy that Jeep and take...
  10. 7/14 6:45 Am time stamp. Told Yesterday I am bumped to 2022

If I get kicked to 2022’ I may look at different vehicle...cough* cough* Jeep Rubicon 392. Depends what my delivery outlook is. I’m not waiting another year for delivery
  11. Priority 1 Status!

Oh sweet, well that’s good. I’m a 7/14 reservation and converted my order on 3/16
  12. Priority 1 Status!

Same at my dealer. I waited a bit to place my order because I was on the fence about ordering a 21’ or not. Had I placed the order when I got the call from my dealer I would have been higher on the list. But I didn’t so oh well. Just gonna wait and see if I hear anything in May. If I see mine by...
  13. Is the 12" screen really an upgrade we all want?

Originally selected Lux, then went standard because I don’t mind minimalist vehicles and features, and now I’m back to Lux. What’s another $5K on a $53K vehicle? Don’t really want the safety nannies but I’ll just disable them in Sync 4 and get an extended bumper to bumper warranty. Not making...
  14. Anticipated possible common issues / problems?

Sync 4 & the 360 cameras. Basically the tech stuff. Mechanicals should be pretty sound.
  15. šŸŽ„ 2021 Bronco Badlands Off-Road Test [Can It Wheel? By Lite Brite]

Slightly misleading. A Rubicon on 35s and a Bronco on 35s will be very similar when crawling when compared to each other. Overall edge on extreme crawling will go to the Rubicon because the solid axle will flex better than the IFS Bronco is capable of doing. Lite Brite’s Jeep is a 4 door JL...
  16. UAW at work. Excellent

Well...yeah. Pretty much how most union jobs are. Sad but not shocking
  17. Thinking about ordering a 392...talk me out of it!

I was highly considering a 392...however, current Stellantis quality control leaves much to be desired. They beefed up the axles, frame, etc to be able to handle the 392. Engineering is sound. However, spent some time on the JL forums before you make your decision. I read them as much as I read...
  18. Hell's Revenge & Devil's Hot Tub Bronco Video w/ Talk of 40" Tires (Featuring Loren Healy)

I am legit impressed. A lot of winching required?
  19. Does HP play a big role in off-roading?

A good driver off-road is more important than horsepower/torque. A skilled guy can take a 2.3 anywhere a 2.7 can go. Especially with the manual & crawler gear
