Spent a few hours hunting down the clicking sound on my MIC top. Turns out every time I hit a bump, the passenger side positioning pin (the little black pin that sets into the metal bracket behind the front row) was rubbing against the bracket. A small 2cm strip of vinyl repair tape (cut from an...
Unless you’re on the east coast where there is actual weather 🤣 even just spending a long weekend out in NB, I’ve gotten some pretty good gusts I don’t think my soft top would have liked at all.
Bought a pair of N-Fab RKRs off Amazon, sold by Amazon. They seem to have come damaged right from the factory; the finish looked like they’d been dropped and scraped - but it was all hidden under the wrapping, which was undamaged. Sent them back now they’re probably in a landfill. I wish...
Been driving my non-HOSS 3 all over the trails in NB this week and haven’t broken anything. Unless you’re looking to do stupid things (that usually destroy trails and get them closed), you probably don’t need HOSS 3.

“We’re betting on the dealers. We’re not going to go direct. But we need to specialize,” CEO Jim Farley told reporters Tuesday after briefing dealers about the plans. “The...
drove across the line into NY and swapped some guy's late 22 hard top for my 21 soft top + $5500, it was a steal considering my dealer wanted 25k to order the parts for a new hard top
it blows my mind that after ten pages and i guess a year of getting nothing out of this company, somebody is having to drive out to them to take the photos and do the job they should have done in the first place. what a tone deaf company. fwiw i found someone local up here who was willing to...
they will definitely do this after they catch up on hard tops. it's still a constraint right now. the $10k comes from ordering all of the parts. they're intended to be service parts, not an accessory kit. when the accessory does eventually come out it will probably be around 4k. ford will want...
to make aux 1 more complicated, not only do most lights not need 30 amps, but the wire itself seems to be 1.5mm2 thick, which at most should only push 15-20 amps.. maybe it was designed for a fridge or something with spike wattage?
another thing i just noticed, this top has over 100 parts. ford's has about 25. even though they promise the customer doesn't have to put it together, this sounds like a much more complex top, with many more points of failure. i was initially interested because it was fewer panels, and seemed...
