Different vehicles use different chips. I thought the biggest issue with Fords chip shortages were they decommitted from their suppliers when Covid hit, expecting demand to fall way off and when it didn’t, they had to scramble. The commit for the Bronco chips should have always stayed high and...
This is crazy...1 Sasquatch and 3 Luxe’s? It appears the 2.7L issue was over blown but the Sasquatch package is just kind of ridiculous if these are the numbers we will see. I guess 2025 is good estimate. I went from thinking I was in the first 25, to wondering if I’ll ever get it. As always...
Yes, but I think the Sasquatch number shown doesn’t include wildtracks and FE which have Sasquatch already. Add those in and you’re just over 50% of orders have Sasquatch.
Looking at this table, I think it is being interpreted wrong, at least I hope. I think the percentages correspond to the percent of people that ordered that commodity, not the probability it will schedule/preview. I personally don't think this has anything to do with how likely you are to get...
How many of the 70 orders were for MY22? If 20 orders fell into MY22, and has 50 orders for MY21, 30-35% of that number is 15-17 Broncos for MY21. That would have put you right on the bubble.
Another Utah Granger buyer here. I won’t be at the Aquarium though, since I went to Moab. Patiently waiting word on build/delivery. I was told by Sean today I was in top 16 at Granger, so hoping for June build, but I have 3 of 6 deadly options, so patience may be the operative word.
The only reason First Editions would be built first is because all the first editions have early reservation time stamps. Ford is building 52,000 Broncos for MY21, so there will be far more than First Editions built.
I’ll let Zach speak for himself but knowing their business is built on low overhead, and pass the savings on to customers, I don’t expect they are one of these 100 dealers...and I’m absolutely fine with that. I don’t need a fire pit and some trail mix so I have to pay top dollar for my Bronco.
The one thing they have said since this information was released, was they have invested another $6M into their supply chain, which apparently may help alleviate some of the commodity constraints. Of course we will see once we hear people with any of the six deadly sins, getting delayed or not...
Job 1 is when they start building full production rates and the May builds will include Priority orders and dealer mannequins. Looks like this is the start of everyone else
