I may have to keep an eye out on Marketplace for some of these. That’s where I’m piecing together mods and accessories. I got all four door bags and a spare front panel bag, all still in the OEM plastic, for $100. Last week a picked up a never installed OEM fuel tank skid with hardware for $75.
I think the Bronco script is kind of played out. It still looks great on some. Those badges on Etsy that match the factory stickers look pretty good. I may go with a set of those someday, or just leave it alone.
Yeah, it’s all pretty easy. I had the bumper off, hitch on, plugged in the wiring, and bumper back on in less than 30 minutes. A few weeks later I installed the tow module while watching/listening to the 2nd quarter of the Longhorns vs Vanderbilt game. My top was off so that gave me extra room...
I had a 65 mustang for a brief period 20ish years ago, along with a 78 Trans Am and a 96 Ram. I consider my first Ford our 2019 Expedition we bought new. I traded my 2014 Ram for the Bronco.
Like the Wrangler? The TJ was not far from the CJs and YJ. Then the Jk was a pretty big step and the JL is not far from that. Sure there’s plenty of electronics in them now but they’re still pretty basic. Definitely less complicated than the Bronco. I really like the JL but like the Bronco...
I think it would look better with aftermarket fiberglass fenders and would be more unique. Fiberwerx has some pretty big fenders and Anderson as a more subtle option. They seem reasonably priced, I don’t know anything about the quality of these. Fiberwerx actually has Raptor conversion but they...
I’ve got the Ford version of the Bestop bimini but I get the seatbelt flapping when the top is on with windows down, even then it’s just certain conditions mostly related to how windy it is outside. I’m not too bothered by it.
I’m on my 2nd tank of 93 and have lost 2-3 mpg. My usual commute I get 19-19.4 mpg and my first tank of 93 I was just over 17. I was a little more aggressive on the throttle in the beginning so I knew that could have made the difference, but I still felt like it should have been closer. I filled...
This is correct. I haven’t paid that much attention to the shifting in the Bronco, especially since the gear indicator isn’t displayed, but our Expedition shifts from 1 to 3 to 5. I think it uses each gear after that in most circumstances. Downshifts usually skip a gear too. On the highway it...
