It's finally here! I picked up my 2dr over the weekend after an 18 month wait and dropping from Wildtrack to BL. Installed a few things that I bought during Black Friday sales last Nov. GOAT Fab rails were a quick install, are pretty beefy and they look good on the 2dr.
Painted my NVM shock...
I have an oder from 1/2/22 that had not yet scheduled. I got an email from my dealer this week and the title was: "The final steps of your Bronco order". The body of the email started with:
"CONGRATULATIONS ON BEING ONE OF THE LUCKY FEW WHO WILL SOON OWN A 2023 BRONCO!"
I replied that I hadn't...
Is it really mostly about allocation still? If Ford schedules my 2dr Badlands High (no sas) from Jan 2, 22 they owe me almost $7k in price protection. They could give "my" build to a very new order at full price. I wonder what they would do???
I'm still waiting for my 2dr Bronco. I purchased a Top Lift Pro last year when they had a big sale. I want to get the JTop mesh top when I get my Bronco. I can't use the Top Lift to remove the Bronco top when the JTop is in place. Have any of you JTop folks removed your mesh top and just...
Exactly! People talk about allocations like they're written in stone. Ford changes them when they feel like it. They "pulled forward" 100s of allocations at Granger. They should have done this for all the long time order holders at every dealer before scheduling new orders. It would be one...
2 doors and Wildtracks ordered 10 days ago are getting scheduled, but Ford can't schedule my 2dr Badlands non-sas that was ordered 15 months ago. Sounds about right for this wonderful experience.
Ford impacted the order rate and the delivery times for 2 doors by not offering a factory soft top. When the MIC quality and availability issues popped up, some 2dr people switched to a 4dr softy just to get a Bronco faster.
Ford impacted the order rate for the MT by only offering it with the...
Thank you RagnarKon for posting this flowchart. Any reason Ford doesn't have an official version that they could use to train a Bronco specialist at every dealer? With all the crap they put a lot of us through, we shouldn't have to explain to the dealers what we are owed in price protection.
FYI - I got a COVP Auth # email from Ford when they approved my '23 re-order. It came from [email protected]. The body of the email had the dealer name, my order #, a tracking #, and the COVP Authorization #. Check your "Bronco" email folder to see if you got this. It was easy...
I'm really enjoying the Trail Militia video series from Sand Hollow. Looks like you guys are having a blast. Nice welderup job on the snapped axle. Are those "off the shelf" axles or ACFab creations? I've seen the +3" axles on the Baja Kits mid-travel but nothing like you're running. Thanks.
And most Sasquatch and Wildtrack owners will move to Badlands and the Swaybar Disconnect will soon be the next big constraint blocking these updated orders
Many people dropping WT or Sasquatch will move to BL, because that is the only model of the 3 listed that comes with the heavy duty front axle.
1 month from now, Ford will likely say:
"Due to the large # of BL orders, the Sway Bar Disconnect feature and BL specific wheels are now constrained...
