Hearing a recommendation here is better than just searching the web!
We have never been to Silverton or Ouray. A place of your own sound wonderful.
Any good camps with hookup around Lake City to recommend?
TXAG96 we just got that same guide book! 8cam we plan to use the Bronco for toad so KOA is a good recommendation. We also have a 2 door so thanks for the heads up.
Thanks for the comments and advice. WE EXPECT TRIP PHOTOS! yes I yelled
They come from the factory with the clips that have a nut built in. Not exactly a nut but it catches on the threads of the bolt. Hopefully someone will recall the name of these clips.
It is not a welded nut.
I believe factory uses a 12 mm bolt maybe 25 mm long.
Looked it up and the name is...
Our chalk test showed our 35's got a full chalk line across the tread at 30.
We started at 35 psi and reduced by 1 psi until the line got where we were happy!
They are Mickey Thompson E rated.
I could probably be persuaded by a CJ model...maybe, perhaps.

Where the pencil is pointing in these pics are 2 points of a little concern. Picture 1. pretty sure the skid plate will...

Thank you for the postings you have previously...
For safety cable hook up, I would like to use something like the LOD Black OPS Bumper Frame tie in bracket.
Crawling around yesterday, I also think that on the Modular bumper and factory front skid plate that it will require notching for the bracket to hang down through the skid plate.
If any...
Just to jump in here and say that we went with Flood extended warranty because they post pricing on line, they allow Ford points on line and their price was very good. Got signed up and never spoke to anyone because there was no need. Granger was harder.
