You're right! And happy birthday!
I’ve been super stoked for this reveal for so long, I’m letting myself get down on it over the damn roofline with about 24 hours to go...
Optimism on, pineapple pizza pre-ordered, lotion and tissues staged, let’s do this thing!
Here’s hoping!
I’ve been bummed about the back end ever since the renders a while back, where the 2-door got the sexy front quartering angle and the 4-door got the “wait isn’t that a Jeep?” rear quartering away angle.
*EDIT* picture
I’m thinking instead of traditional Hawaiian, I’ll do pepperoni and pineapple.
I worked at pizza shops all through high school and college, I’ve tried about every combination. This is a pretty good one.
and bring on the chairs, but there will be NO jalapeños anywhere near me.
well I’m not an auto designer and I didn’t stay at a holiday inn express last night, but like I’ve said before, literally anything other than what looks to me like a direct copy of the jeep.
It’s not like there aren’t loads of distinct looking vehicles out there, and the rest of the new bronco...
i didn’t really have an expectation, though I didn’t expect it to look nearly identical to the Jeep. Different angles, lines, something to distinguish it from a Wrangler.
Like I said, I love the new look overall, but the back glass and rear portion of the roof scream Jeep to me.
It would be really cool if they were spring loaded and could be flush fitting until you need them. I like the utility of them, not really a fan of how they look though.
I love so much of the styling they did on the new bronco, but it seems like they got to this portion and gave up. From this angle, it’s almost indistinguishable from the Jeep, at least to me.
I’m in the wish-it-had-a-power-window-like-the-gen-5 camp.
