You could give it a try but glue adds a lot of rigidity to PVC. If it doesn't work out. glue it. My concern is using 1" PVC. I'd think 1 1/2" would be better, more durable. I'd like to hear from someone who's built one on their opinion. Does the 1" seem kinda flimsy? TIA

If it is just an update hopefully they are replacing the plastic gears with steel. I have read where the plastic gears have stripped and the rack coming down when loaded. If they do go with steel I'd give it a go.

Eh, doesn't look nearly as robust as the toplift pro, no reviews, is a Chinese company and looks to have no US distributors. I'd say proceed with caution. Maybe someone does have one and will chime in.

I didn't get an email either. I called Ford today (prepare to wait on hold a while) there was no email address attached to the order. It was corrected. So yes you may want to call Ford and see if that is your issue too.
