I was in for a service. Didn't run to them for anything.
They said it was a recall, just issued, and that they had the fix and would I like to do it at the same time.
I'm waiting on the part number being released officially to see if it's the same, otherwise, it was working before, and is...
I guess I meant more that they reduce capacity over them catching.
DV8 even has the tag on Amazon that they increase capacity... They just don't.
I had the fronts installed. Couldn't fit anything in there... Had propane stove gas cans in the back OEM ones, along with my son's Bluetooth...
The DV8 overhead molle not only uses completely dead space for storage, but braces and stiffens the models that aren't the raptor that had it's own.
Took away a whole mess of creaking and pops from the flexing roof.
Always feels like most other additions take something at the same time as...
Seems like that odd half working AC port under the front seats was maybe for cooling in the seats.
There's a lot on the Bronco that seemed like they just tapped the brakes and didn't finish. I'm not sure if it was to give them room to then offer it in later models or what, but it left so many...
I went through this whole thought process too...
I currently don't have a winch in mine. I wanted to get it situated and then see how it rode...
I too looked at the IAG, but heard it was possibly a little light weight for the point of it. It looks good enough, but the whole mass of plastic in...
I have ACC. It relocated and works flawlessly.
The camera placement sucks however. Misplaced AND in view of the license plate of you use the flip up kit.
If only they'd developed a bracket to locate it just a little out from its original mounting location, the badlands camera modes would still...
Actually very reassuring to hear that the two I heard start to skip threads may not have been me after all. Both on the drivers side.
I used a driver on my DV8, and all the rest of them torqued up fine. The drivers side seemed to have been installed much tighter than the passenger, suggesting...
The gobi rack has a ladder almost this small, non ironically :D
It works in that you couldn't easily get on the roof without it, but it's a single step affair, with the bumper being step one, the 'ladder' being step 2.
Looks great... I'm still wondering how I can go about installing a snorkel to share the a pillar with my gobi rack.
Looks very good!
I'm still looking for one that will in any way be able to share the A-Pillar with a Gobi rack, while still being future proof enough that if ever I remove it...
The fully functioning state should have them lower as soon as it senses you at the handle, not while opening though.
It's meant to lower them to below the seal, *before* you pull the latch, not after or during.
That's what causes the stick, and that's what escalates the issue to larger alignment...
This is the problem. I vividly remember that when new, all windows would lower slightly on an unlock, and also a handle sensor detect.
Now, it actually waits until you unlatch and pull the door open slightly to drop the window, when it should do it on the touch before it's opened.
In my opinion...
It's actually really cool to have someone definitively step by step something that, in a forum, can become incredibly fragmented in specifics. Those who succeed often lose interest and stop talking about it, leaving a real patchwork of information that's hard to navigate.
That video is a great...
I followed the very specific steps on a YouTube video, and it works just like you said...
The only nagging doubt in my mind were the other option in the first step... There were another 3 options that also included stop and go.
I have a lux build and was concerned the bare acc stop&go option...
Same here. I even stopped short of installing the winch...
I feel the badlands suspension is so stiff that it might actually help counter it a little, but it def lost some height with the bumper.
Did you do anything for the rear bumper? Somehow ones that encorperate a license plate are rare.
I've got the gobi, and I'm surprised to hear it made someone's loudest list.
I bought the add on wind deflector, but gave it a test before I installed it.
I couldn't really hear much of anything.
Not much difference with the deflector either unless it's a windy day out.
I hear some, and from...
The thing that, no pun intended, grinds my gears is that it varies in severity.
I've gone through weeks with it vanishing entirely to then see it return and do it continuously.
I was going through the same near audition like thought process of wondering how I can explain it to the dealership...
This isn't quite right, maybe? The problem isn't momentary or brief. Once it switches itself over, the left signal continues until deselected. That bulletin seems to describe something slightly different.
I hope you're right. Got to wonder why the dealership can't just tell me that if it's the case though, eh?
It's not like I've been screaming at them.
Just asked for them to explain when so many dealerships weren't fixing this recall.
The part number was mentioned several times half a dozen posts above. It was the fix for the 21 camera recall, and the oem part in the 22 and 23.
I even verified the part number at the dealership.
It's the same part the 23 already has.
I'll message Ford and see what they can tell me.
