I've had my MY21 since December 1st of 2021 and luckily haven't experienced this issue yet. I did coat my windshield with Rain-X pretty early on. I know it isn't a fix, but maybe will help make those rainy drives safer until a fix is out there?

Body shops are capable of better paint than factory... sounds like the body shop manager couldn't talk you out of having work done, so did subpar work out of spite.

I went with the Fuel Offroad Blocks... always loved the look of the Volk TE-37S in video games, and these look like the offroad version of those... and they were designed by and named after Ken Block

I does seem more course than the OP's, but it is the premium. Hard to tell with the lighting in the pics, but it is gloss black, which matches the grille and mirror caps on it. Looks much better in person in my opinion.

Something like this, I leave to the professionals... I tend to start on a project and get sidetracked with something else and not finish for a few months. Had it done at Line-X of Troy, just north of Dayton, OH. They did a great job.

Update: Completed today I'd like to thank the OP for posting this. I had originally planned to paint the top gloss black, but I think this looks much better and will make the top more durable long term.

Nice 2 door WT! Don't drive over any gravel until you get mudflaps! Those stock SAS tires are gravel magnets and it will chip your paint.

But what's the dealer mark up? 🤔

Ok, I just left the Dayton Offroad Expo here in Wilmington, OH. Came out to this. Not going to lie, I like it. Not sure if I'll replace my console badge with it yet or not.
