I noticed this a bit back but haven't gotten around to getting it fixed. I'm wondering if maybe water got in and then froze and lifted it up? Would it be something I can fix? Or should I take it to the dealer and see what they say? If I can fix it, how does this panel come off?
The Fed deals are separate. Denver uses RHD wranglers for parking enforcement. Only the diesel wrangler was approved this year and for much more than the Bronco. It's only a matter of time before I start to see them as municipal vehicles in the mountain towns. My department really wanted one...
Broncos are approved for government purchase in Colorado for last year and this year. They are 32 and some change fixed as long as the dealer can get them. My department looked in to getting some but they didn't like how long I had to wait for mine.
Mine is my daily driver and with the increase in gas prices and my commute still being as long as it is, I've definitely considered trading it for a Maverick. I love getting to take it offroad and get away from other people, but if gas gets and stays above 5 bucks I just don't want to pay that...
I really want to wrap mine in gloss emerald green so it looks like an old forest service truck or the filson bronco but I'm on a really tight budget and don't think I can be dropping 3k+ for something that's only going to last a few years. I'd love to see someone else use this color though.
2 door base 2.3 auto and I'm getting 23.5 during warm weather and it drops to about 21 during cold snaps. I've seen 24, nearly 25 when driving to Moab. I always drive in eco and almost always under the speed limit on the highway.
I'm the only base and only two door for miles around but I have been seeing several high trim levels (First editions mostly and several sasqauched badlands) driving around. None ever wave back to me. I've talked to a few when I see them at work and most weren't reservation holders, just people...
That's from the most recent update from Google. It has irked a lot of people and there's no way to change it. I installed Gaia maps and it started to default to that and just has been absolutely killing my battery. I had to remove it from the launcher. Android Auto has been great when it works...
my base 2.3 gets 22 city 24 highway. I usually get over 400 miles per tank. The cold snap we've had in Colorado has significantly reduced that to below 300 miles of range, but it goes back up when the temps go up.
I've noticed some total a-hole responses from people in Boulder while I drive through every day. Jealousy? Anger that it isn't "fuel efficient"? I'm not sure. One reason I got oxford white is for this reason. My truck got keyed regularly in Boulder and I had to repair it often. Sorry this happened.
You're probably not likely to get pulled over for no front plate unless you already ticked off the cop and they're looking for PC. Parking Enforcement will get you though. I know Denver and Boulder both actively cite for it. I use the stock bracket just because it's easier than trying to argue...
I want to add a similar bracket now. I'd be interested in having a spacer on hand for it. I'm in Boulder and could probably make the drive up sometime this week.
