Thanks. I appreciate the response. Since it remains illuminated when a passenger is present, there must be something wrong with the sensor.
Will take in for service.
Appreciate the responses.
No. That light is illuminated when no passengers are in the car, and when and adult passenger is in the car. No child restraint systems are installed.
Yes, the light does match page 70, but not what's described on 71, so I don't see an explanation matching the image in the manual.
If no one...
Thanks for the response. Yes, I read the manual. But you'll notice that the circled item is not identical to anything in the manual, although close. That's why I asked.
About a week or so ago I noticed the airbag lights were illuminated. I had not really noticed them before, so thought this was a recent occurrence but I wasn't certain. If I am driving with a passenger in the car, the notification switches to "ON" but the light circled in the attached image...

The only issue I now have is with the cup holder part. I haven't removed it...
I'm in the same situation. Was told something would be sent back on 3/21 but haven't received any updates since then. Am approaching Amazon 30 day limit for returns so will send back to them if I don't receive anything this week.
I was VERY hesitant, and strongly considered paying for the remote service via Pandaworks (links can be found be just searching the threads on this site). I ended up watching (and re-watching) a video someone posted in another thread (this is the youtube link: ) and afterwards felt confident...
Just FYI, this update did not impact the Forscan changes that I had previously made to my '23 Badlands (added Sport, removed double-honk, added Bambi mode).
When driving above 40 MPH, if I select "Alert" then the steering wheel vibrates whenever I veer close to the road sidelines.
If I select "Assist" then the car (albeit very slightly compared to other cars I've owned) will nudge away from the road sideline.
I assume if selected "Alert + Aid"...
