my point in a different thread - I was being facetious
ARCHETYPE RACING - was proposing composite skids

Yes, I'm 1000% sure the roll-bar and pillars are welded.
But theoretically, if this is body on frame - and you cut them out - the body would not be over stressed.
I wonder if this is simply showing that the role cage is a separate set of components - vs - that it could be removed.
Speculation: roll cage (gone) may not effect cowl shake...
I'm so happy for you that you know what you know!
BTW nobody ever said they would make plans based on a forum conversation, much less ask insiders to "divulge" proprietary info o...m....g...
I feel the same. I find myself having to rationalize everything now around this hobby, and all the while cursing the kids with the loud exhaust.
Sad I feel my dreaming days and taking action on out of the box projects is....over.
That said I sure like to see others doing it. I cant wait to see...
I'm 100% sure someone will build this - so distinctive.
I would not be surprised if someone also deleted the windshield, or made a folding one.
I was hoping body-on-frame would make it easy for people to do wild things like this.
But, nothing wild, or simple looking - is easy.

I dunno I think there are a bunch of smart people on here.... Who have done research and have seen the Bronco in person, the chassis, and analyzed it. I also think there are people on here with companies making accessories, that have early access to CAD and have already developed parts. For...
I personally don't have the budget to build a toy with a new Bronco.
Its just for discussion, curious because of some of the recent concepts showing up from Jeep and foreseeing what is to come at SEMA etc.
Structural - Is the roll-bar system part of the body structure?
For example: Is is possible to delete the roll bar, and even cut off the B & C Pillars?
We know its body on frame.
* For devil advocates sake, I know there will be some crazy builds in the future.
Thanks
I'll check out what the f150 does.
I just mean add a camera to the existing system interface somehow.
We have a bunch of extra switches for adding lights and stuff.
It would be super cool to add a camera , and be able to see it on the existing screen.
So you can see what's behind the trailer
