No it's a tool used to cut patterns in vinyl wrap. you lay a string-embedded tape under the vinyl in the pattern you want and peel the string out once the vinyl is laid and it cuts your pattern for you. the tape itself is non-stick so it clears from under the edge of the vinyl easily. It's awesome!
It's pretty easy. Just make sure your surface is clean and work from the middle out. knifeless tape was great for this because there's no allignment needed- just lay a big piece of film down and pull the string
Done entirely freehand with knifeless tape. Matte black with gloss black pinstripe on top. Very functional too- blocks glare during eastbound morning commute!
Thereās a couple of us whose lights will turn on randomly when vehicle is parked. I have a hunch that it has to do with the auto light sensor as it seems to be when I park before sunset and return to the vehicle after itās dark. Itās happened maybe 3-4 times in the last month. My dealer hasnāt...
Yeah I think that may be a steel portion? Still unclear to me which sections exactly are steel and aluminum and havenāt had a magnet in my pocket to check. If itās steel itās definitely worth painting, looks aside
Donāt see many cons unless you like to unbox your own new vehicles. I could see how this would be a quasi religious ceremony for many people! For me, I loved being able to drive a fresh and clean car right off the lot (then took the salesman along to do donuts in the mud)
Same issue here. Good to know someone else had. Iām at one full week without headlights turning on randomly. Called dealership and they havenāt heard of this being a known issue.
Iād love to know what sensor that is above rear wheel! And that panel where the running board is chopped off? Maybe quick air for engineers to quickly test varying wheel conditions? Must be cool to live in MI and see engineers testing these products
