    Yes. Like mentioned above you drill into the front flares and also into the rear bumper. They screw directly in the rear bumper. I like the flaps. They help.

    Were you behind a semi truck by chance? I've experienced some odd wind buffeting behaviors with my top behind large vehicles.

    I have the bronco splash guards from ford accessories. Can confirm that they do not prevent this from happening. Have not had issues with the door self clearing the snow. If it's frozen on there I just knock it off with my hands.

    at ~16,000 miles. starting my second northern winter with mine. None of these problems so far. Really easy to lift top, no problems with water ingress during carwashes or pressure washing. Like many others here I would like a hard top for the rear defrost/wiper and also more roof rack options...
