The gift that keeps on giving. New today I have the "snakeskin" texture on both sides of my clamshell and signs of delamination all the way down the drivers side rear clamshell seam. There is also a dark rubberized vinyl streak...
Finally someone called me out on it lol
Actually not a ton of first hand experience, tbh. But I did tow a few heavy loads with my F150 inside the 1k mile break in and ended up with some random hard shifts common with the 10sp. Nothing horrible, but possibly could have been avoided.
In the end...
Speakers aren't anything special as far as I can tell. They're good enough for the average Joe (me), but won't do audiophiles any good.
As far as cruise, I haven't used it. I'm taking this break in period as seriously as I can which means 1000mi of playing footsie lol
Good to know the accuracy is pretty close! I've never gone down the analytics rabbit hole myself. I'm just trying to make sure the break-in is as smooth as possible. The mileage is just a bonus 😁
Honestly wouldn't be surprised if they took it down the road for a good power wash and stopped at the pump to fill it up. But like I said, I don't care. I'm fortunate that I can trust my dealership.
6:45am ET on 7/14 and ordered in February but was given a golden ticket
I really hope you guys get yours as soon as possible. I know it's easy for me to say, but it's absolutely worth the wait.
No goat modes yet. I'm trying hard to break it in with ease. In my experience, tranny's needs more break in attention than the motor so I'm really trying to focus on feathering the throttle.
