Leaning this way as well. I prefer the MGV but actually kind of like the WT seats. Love the black accents. If I don't get the modular hardtop later, I would run the black softtop on it most of the year anyway.
Do you guys know: If I get a BL, then later decide to put 315/70/17 tires on it, can I do that without any additional modifications? .... I know the rims are 8" (versus 8.5"), and I lose an inch or so of lift, correct, due to Sasquatch's longer springs? Anything else I am missing?
I am still debating 2-door versus 4-door. I agree in pics the 4-door looks huge (and long) but when I stood next to this one, my perspective changed and it seemed very proportional. Not sure what to do! ...
I like it too. Will look like nothing else on the road and really stand out! Don't really get all the hate, although I would probably get MGV in the Wildtrak if offered.
Deciding which Bronco to get has been one of those most difficult decisions of my life! (1st World Problems, huh!). I just watched the video of the Ox White Badlands walkaround and saw the Stig's pic of the white Wildtrak. F' it, I'm going Sasquatch!!!
After seeing it in person, really thinking this is my build as well, including the color. I will ask again as I know there are many very smart gearheads on here who have dissected these vehicles to the extent that they can at this point: Does anybody know definitively if one can slap (safely)...
Having seen both 2-door and 4-door in person, I have to agree with Mattwings. The 265/70/17 tires definitely look bigger in person, but IMO they are too small for the body, especially on the 4-door. Can pull them off on the 2-door, barely.
Yes, this one looked DARK gray to my eyes. Maybe calling it satin black is a stretch, but it was darker than the other 2 MICs I've seen, which both had a flatter finish as well. I just looked at my phone pics again, the pics I posted didn't turn out super clear.....
Who would have ever thought that Winter in SE Michigan could be this much fun - we can go Bronco hunting every weekend during the day and read Bronco forums all night. Hahaha!
Yep! I have only seen 3 MICs in person: the 2-door Cyber Orange Badlands in Allen Park a few weeks ago which I thought looked like crap, a very dull flat gray; a 2-Door A51 OBX at LTP in Livonia earlier this week which looked the same to me and was a big mismatch with the gloss black grille...
Oh, that's great news! Yes, it's "production prove out," not "pilot production" - I was trying to remember the acronyms from my PD days .... the TT build I saw today looked like really good build quality!
Yeah, you ain't kidding. I am normally a pretty decisive person but this Bronco is killing me. Yesterday I was "settled" on a race red Wildtrak; woke up this morning, thinking white squatched Badlands ... then I run into this Black Diamond today and am thinking, save a lot of $ and throw 33s on...
In the ramp up to full production, the builds go in this order:
TT - Tooling Trial: to verify that all tooling processes work for the new model
PP - Pilot Production: continued assessment of process capability
MP - Mass Production Build: there's usually MP1 & MP2 and it's continuation of PP
J1...
This 2-door TT-build was spotted at gas station across the street from MAP. The driver was pumping gas and in a meeting at same time so I didn’t want to bother him too much but he did let me look inside. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a pic of the interior - he had quite a bit of stuff in there. A...
