Let us know what you decide! I’m also glad to hear you’re enjoying the cactus grey. That’s the color I went with also. It’s definitely a love hate relationship with all this waiting and tracking and waiting.
I placed my Wildtrak order on 01/07/2022 and 3.0 became available on 03/07/2022. My dealer added the 3.0 package on 03/09/2022. VIN was assigned on 07/23/2022 and it's currently on the assembly line today 08/19/2022.
I agree with the above responses. You can throw aftermarket parts on it for the same money while also giving it your personal touch to set it apart from the factory SAS look. Find a reputable off road shop in your area and you’ll be fine.
I’m debating actually buying mine also. I’m getting a...
Ask your dealer to show you every revision of your “Preview Order Summary”. There will be a “Price Level” 3-digit code on each revision if you have more revisions than your original. If the code has changed then your price has probably changed and it should show the MSRP and the Invoiced price...
I shopped for “beaters” to commute with but ended up buying a brand new Hyundai Elantra base model. It averages 45 mpg on my route and came with a 10 year warranty and free oil changes. It’s not “cool” by any means but saves me money to leave the big diesel truck at home.
Still have not received a WS and this isn't very comforting. However, since I have checked in with Ford Chat about 8 times now, depending on who you get on the other end of the chat depends on how much detail they provide you.
why wouldn’t it be? It would cost Ford more money and engineering headache to produce model specific parts versus using the same part on various trim levels. If you’re questioning track width the rear axle on the BRaptor is physically wider but the front end appears to be the same axle on both...
Correct. 3.0 factory equipped Wildtrak's are built with the same steering system as the BRaptor. This should have been the differentiating option that set Wildtrak's apart from the other trim levels but Ford was late to deliver. It was a $2,515 package that became available in March '22 to...
Just spoke with Ford Chat and now they're saying 8/19 production from a previous date of 8/16. As the previous comments say not nearly as bad to get bumped a couple days vs weeks. Still no window sticker so I'll continue this ride with you all...
I added 3.0 in March with zero expectation of 2022 delivery. Now that I have a build date and seeing your are getting a hard top really sets in some regret for me. Seems like no rhyme or reason as to which options are delaying production.
Congrats on your Wildtrak!
