Burnt orange is the exact term my mom used when she saw it for the first time.

I thought if I took a picture next to an orange car, it would show that it’s more red than orange. I think it had the opposite effect. 😁. But I love it even if I’m getting a lot of orange comments.

I haven’t had time to process it much. I drove it from the dealer 2 miles to pick up my daughter, then 1 mile back to my house, parked it in the garage, then loaded up my wife’s Acura and hit the road for a 7 hr drive. I’ll be at the Austin Off Roadeo tomorrow morning!

Hmmm. Maybe so. Going by the preproduction pic i was expecting darker. I guess “warm alloy” means “silver”. It’s nothing that a little powder coat won’t fix.

Yesterday morning the CSX tracker said my railcar was still in Chicago for the 12th day in a row. But thanks to @medieval7 who suggested the Norfolk Southern tracker, I found out the railcar had been in my town the day before. 24 hrs later and my BadSas is here. They put on the wrong beauty...

I’m on BNSF301533. I know it by heart at this point. I think as the production outcasts slowly but surely vacate Table 9, they’re going to start seating the shipping outcasts in their place.

If your train is moving at all, it’s doing better than mine. Mine has been in Chicago since January 2. Each day it updates and says its scheduled to arrive at Blue Island at 7pm that day, but it never does.
