I’ll let you know I just installed it yesterday. Ive had the charger for some time and it works great. I never had apple car play so not sure how it will effect the charger. I can follow up later.

I’ll tell you a secret my husband is a mechanical engineer. He fixes his cars constantly but I wanna try to take care of mine as much as I can.

No worries I’m quite aware I’m in a small minority here lol. I’m not knowledgeable with engines or electrical systems hence the easy work around!

someone told me you can get something on Amazon to connect to your opener and use an app to operate it. I think that’s the way I’m gonna go and I remember it being cheap.

Huh yeah tried few times at dealer and my house. Dealer said it’s probably a problem w fords modem. Idk gonna try again today if it ever stops raining.

I didn’t use the blank panel for fords charger. I just put it under the rubber mat that goes in that spot. My charger was pretty cheap and so far works even under the mat and with my case on.

Yes I got very lucky took delivery Tuesday the 21st.
