Same experience as others. My dealer doesn't have any more information than is available in this thread. They do not expect Ford to offer any model year transition assistance and are seeing issues ordering 2 doors. I'd like to know who has my deposit money and how to get it back.
I'm not sure why that got so snarky. But yes, the OP is not alone. I would like to know whether there is going to be an option for a 2DR HE next year or not.
Any thoughts or insight as to what Ford is going to do with Heritage VIN holders who had their order’s cancelled? Price protection to 24? Front of the line? SOL?
It just occurred to me that I am scheduled for the Off Roadeo for a car I'm likely not to get, and I can no longer cancel without penalty. Cherry on top.
My dealer said the same, but did not have further information. They are trying to get in touch with their Ford rep on this. I told him I have three questions:
1) Confirmation that this indeed cancelled with no possibility that car gets built;
2) Are they even building 2dr 2024 Heritages? I...
Jim, I also got the "Cancelled" message on the Ford website. Tracker shows us pushed to 12/18. I reached out to our dealer contact to see if they know what is going on, but if it is truly cancelled I would be interested in this--bout time for a trip to Alabama.
I’m still showing 10/2; this is the closest I’ve gotten to a build date yet.
I know that UAW isn’t shutting down whole plants, just certain lines, and I don’t think its the same line the whole strike—so maybe they are still churning some out? Maybe wishful thinking . . .
I don't know if it is good news (i.e. making it more likely that it is actually built that week), but I was just moved forward from 10/30 to 10/2 also.
