I look at it this way. "A woman, and her Bronco is a beautiful thing." :)
There's a young lady in my town that has her Jeep JK transformed into a "Wonder Woman" ride. I wanted to hate it, but I have to admit she did it tastefully. Looks really good.
Admit it guys, we know this to be true.
Hot damn, Zach @Zach@Granger, dude, if I stand on my tippy toes I can just see the top of your front door. That's a big step for the guy that was way down the sidewalk, around the corner, standing across from your local fire department. I'm happy....................
Seriously brother, thanks...
Apparently jubangus isn't married to a woman going through "The Change". More times than not I hear "roll down your window a little. I'm having my own little personal summer over here". ;)
First, I know :).........with my Wrangler there is a rubber seal between the top, and the fenders where the hard top sits. It creaks like my old bones during cold weather, and not as bad when it's warm outside. Could there be a seal like that on the Bronco that's causing your squeaking. Good...
Lauren, we test drove a new Grand Cherokee last week. I must say it was very nice. And yes, it is quite tempting It would probably be a better for us than the mythical Bronco I have ordered.
I'm late to this thread, but was thinking the same thing when I got to your post. My 55 year old '67 Camaro has frameless windows, and they have never rattled when rolled partially down, or all the way down. And, it's been in the family 49 of those 55 years.
OK, I tried to read the entire thread, but it's growing faster than I can read. So, here it goes. Now I honestly know these people mean well, but for me at this point it's:
"I ordered my Bronco January 15th, '22, and it arrived March 28th. Let me say "IT"S WORTH THE WAIT".
Just f^%king shoot...
It's not unheard of, but it isn't a wide spread problem. Your warranty will cover the repair. IIRC the Fast Lane (TFL) crew had a leaky shock on the rear of their Bronco.
Michael, I did the white stitching in a GM plastic car in red. I would do several at a time, and them wipe the excess. Most all interiors these days have a protective coating, and it won't soak the dye in, so it's just wipe and go. I used the Marvy permanent marker (great product) just because a...
Thanks for the tip Ron. Yeah, I've seen that. It does give me pause for sure. I can't understand what's happening there as I have the 3.6L in my Wrangler, and with 23K miles it hasn't even had a hic-up (knock wood). From what I'm seeing most of the problems come from the new "L" 3 seat model...
Tom, like you I'm don't know for sure what would happen either. But, I suspect it would put your build back in the que waiting once again. Also, as far as I know the tow package is still on constraint, and that doesn't help your chances at all. I'd hold fast, and just get an aftermarket hitch...
Previewing means Ford is looking at your build to make sure they have the parts to produce the vehicle. If you throw the tow package in now (if it's even possible) it could bring everything to a screeching halt. If you want your Bronco now, like Sean said, don't take that chance.
That's it right there. Being an old LEO the only thing I could have done was ask the dealer if I could take a test drive in that Bronco. Nuttin' else.................
