Thanks everyone, I ordered a craven stubby, it was the same price and basically the same thing. could even get it right from their site with free shipping for the same price as they charge on amazon. but nice that they'll get more of the money.
of course they arent... they cant tell dealers NOT to charge ADM either. They can discourage it, explain why it might be bad business. But at the end of the day it is MSRP for a reason.
Ford would be acting as the agent who is coordinating among independent retailers to set a price. dealers dont need to interact directly, ford would be doing it for them. Still illegal.
Its like OPEC coming in and telling all the gas stations what to charge or else
the stock one is tall, its just over the roof. would definitely get destroyed in a car wash I think. mostly just appearance of having a big long 1990-era antenna
it would be called price fixing and/or collusion, and is HIGHLY illegal.
They could threaten their allocation, but they'll get sued, and the local courts in the state will side with the franchise owner every day of the week over the out of state parent company.
I dont know if Ill ever use a carwash... but I might...
I see in reviews that these shorter antennas dont flex and may break off (one guy even said it bent his fender, not on a bronco).
the wrangler is sort of off the side with some shelter.
anyone whos replaced have any feedback?
This one...
broncos done. reservations are closed, orders needed to be placed. if dealers were going to charge incremental deposits, they've already done so.
as for reselling, Id say thats passed, The only ones getting over market are the dealers at this point, if your reselling the bronco, you're not...
20 miles in, I get a strong burning rubber smell when I park, or reverse.
Also got a parking brake fault when I got into the car (the brake was not set, and the fault went away when I started the car, and I was able to cycle the parking brake with out issue) I was briefly worried I drove...
well... there are forecasts. ALG is the industry standard for these forecasts, it is how automakers price, package, and sell leases.
theres assumptions, but they arent complete guesses.
the current economy has broken every model.
depreciation is taken from MSRP, most cars transact 5-10k under MSRP as general policy. this shows up as "depreciation", but its being paid by the OEM.
Wrangler is the exception (so is tesla) they dont put traditional incentives, so their residual %...
well I like the fender delete... as if the bronco isnt already spraying rocks 3 counties over, and so do wranglers.
my only comment is... someone needs to make a rear bumper to match. Front looks fine sticking out, but the rear bumper is hanging out without the fender. surely someone will...
gosh the sasquatch is taller than I realized to step into, the sill plate becomes the defacto step, and I dont want to destroy the paint.
I see a sill plate from fast intentions, film based, wraps over the edge, only costs $49. Like
or Ford aluminum/stainless sill plate, does not wrap over...
Im hoping the windows end up a little bigger than the prototype, and that the stowed position can squash down more. It folds back as high as the roof line almost, seems like you'd have zero visibility behind you. But its a prototype, so very curious to see the finished product. I love the...
I dont care for the only soft top option from bestop, cant stow all the way back.
I cringe at the thought of what a soft top from Ford will cost via the parts department...
bronco is a truck, infact, an AWD ecosport is a "truck". almost any SUV is a truck because it gets advantageous CO2 targets. the frame vs unibody has nothing to do with it, its considered a truck if it has certain approach, departure, and ground clearance, or if its GVW is over 6500lbs.
With...
