  1. A Wrangler Owner/Enthusiast/Builder honest review of the 2021 Bronco -- long...

That was a good honest frank review. Thank you. I drive a pretty modified JKUR on 35's. There's a lot of road miles to get to my favorite off road place. I bought the Badlands/SAS to be comfortable on the road getting out there, but reasonably capable off road too. My jeep likes off road...
  2. TFL: 2021 Bronco vs Wrangler vs Defender - Off-Road Trail Comparison Video

I agree! I own a JK Rubicon on 35's and one of the best features I was sure to order on my Badlands/SAS was the trail camera. The camera will be unbelievably helpful on rocky trails like in the video and my passengers will complain less when I don't kick them out of the Jeep to spot me.
  3. Windshield rock chip / crack?

Truth!!! I have a JK Rubicon Unlimited, and in 100K miles, I've had the windshield fully replaced 3 times and rock chips repaired more than a dozen times. The Phoenix area is terrible for stray rocks on the highways because of all of the construction, but rest assured, there will be a lot of...
  4. Wildtrak 2.7L Sasquatch Lux Leather Tow Review and Build Thread

Terrific thread! Thanks for taking the time to air it out. I also have a JKUR on 35's with a Badlands/SAS on order so I appreciate the Jeep Vs Bronco comparisons.
  5. New 2021 Ford Bronco Video showing all GOAT modes and 4x4 system

Great question! Buy a Badlands and they take Sport mode away?#! WTF
  6. Why Did They Choose Independent Suspension For 2021 Bronco? - Engineering Explained

Yes he did. I enjoyed the video though. I have a JK Unlimited Rubicon with 35's (Pentastar 3.6L 6 cylinder). The best I can get is 15 to "maybe" 16 MPG. I bought a Badlands/SAS because the 35's really help with off road performance and I expect the IFS to be much better than my Jeep on road...
  7. Spied: Bronco Overland Sasquatch Prototype Caught Testing Winch, Snorkel and Roof Accessories

Now you're talking! It's massively important to me. I don't want to have leave my Bronco Badlands/SAS in the driveway and instead take my Rubicon on trips where the winch might be needed (which is nearly every damn trip I do as the key word is "might"). I'm already a "99" in the Granger...
  8. Spied: Bronco Overland Sasquatch Prototype Caught Testing Winch, Snorkel and Roof Accessories

I could accept that plate on the front of the winch if it's for the radar antenna preserving the ACC ...
  9. Dilemma: Manual 2.3 VS Auto 2.7

EXACTLY. I own a heavily modified manual Rubicon on 35's. It's really a pain off road after a while. And if you think that's bad, try driving it in traffic. New autos are so good that there isn't even a reliability improvement with a manual. My Rubicon manual blew at 135K miles and cost me...
  10. What are everyones thoughts/plans on first mods?

Ordered a Badlands, Sas, Lux, 2.7 1 - Front stubby bumper with internal recessed winch that works with radar antenna and front camera. C'mon aftermarket guru's!!!! Relocation brackets are fine. Relocating the Warn winch solenoids are fine too. 2 - Rear bumper with swing arm that holds the...
  11. Winch solutions

In the last year I've used my winch three times. BTW ... I also carry traction boards and lots of other recovery gear: 1 - On the remote North Rim of the Grand Canyon 50 miles from pavement while hiking below the rim a storm came in and dumped a lot of rain. I climbed out to the rim the next...
  12. Winch solutions

I drive a Rubicon on 35's with a front winch and it has saved my ass off road (and various random others) quite a few times. Frankly, it's an essential tool for the Bronco if you want to compete with Jeep. I ordered a Badlands/Sas/Lux and had this very discussion with the Bronco reps last...
  13. Sleeping in the 4 Door Bronco?

I did get a few. I thought it looked pretty good but didn't pay too much attention because I ordered a Badlands. Unfortunately, I can't upload here because the files are too big :( Here's a link: https://photos.app.goo.gl/cqLoFGDarnytv1de7
  14. Sleeping in the 4 Door Bronco?

Awesome shot! You can tell that the front seat could go fwd quite a bit since there is someone sitting in it.
  15. Sleeping in the 4 Door Bronco?

I was definitely laying diagonally across the back. I think if you moved the front seats all the way forward you could comfortably have two people laying back there. Unfortunately, I didn't test this out though because there was a lot of people traffic.
  16. Sleeping in the 4 Door Bronco?

Now that's a terrific use case for the removable roof without a cross bar (like the Jeep). I shoot a lot of night sky stuff up at the Grand Canyon. Some of it's on my website here: www.richrudow.com On my Rubicon the accessory light can be completely shut off so that the battery doesn't drain...
  17. Sleeping in the 4 Door Bronco?

Hate to spoil the party, but there is no 2 door to view with the AZ demos :(
  18. Sleeping in the 4 Door Bronco?

Now that's what I'm talking about! Hopefully it won't take the aftermarket guys too long to get on the program for the Bronco.
  19. Sleeping in the 4 Door Bronco?

Unfortunately, no Sas. The Black Diamond was Cactus Grey, 2.3l, manual with the 8" display and the Outer Banks was black, 2.7l, auto with the 12" display. I was able to visualize the pieces that would be in my Badlands Sas order. The Ford reps knew the differences in height between the models...
  20. Sleeping in the 4 Door Bronco?

Heck yeah! Great to meet you too. I really appreciate how informed you guys were about the vehicle. It's a step up from my Rubicon in a lot of ways. We just gotta figure out how to get the front winch in there with all of the sensors.
