I'm guessing they're trying to amend the contract with Webasto to allow Bestop to produce 2DR soft tops.

They've known about this Webasto issue for months, yet they kept telling us it was under control. As a 2DR Bronco reservation holder, I don't have the option of switching to a soft top. That's another issue. And they still won't come out and tell us all remaining 2DRs will be at least MY22. Why...

Exactly. This might be the straw that breaks the camel's back for me.

They're going to be producing dealer stock before customer orders, after they said they wouldn't.

This is getting absurd.

"we won't be able to solely produce customer orders." So they'll be producing thousands of 4DR Big Bends with soft tops for dealers to sell while we wait for the hardtop Broncos we ordered a year ago. Unreal. And 2DR Bronco orders are screwed. Lovely.

My Plan C is a Mustang convertible if my Bronco is delayed to Q2 2022. I WILL have an open air experience next spring/summer come hell or high water (just not too high, the Mustang won't be able to handle it).

I'm guessing no more MIC tops til MY22. So all remaining non-FE 2DR Broncos will be MY22.

I'm prepared. I'd rather know the worst case than be strung along with false hope. Bring on the bad news.

Back in February I posted this: "There will soon be thousands of Broncos in the yard at MAP! . . . We'll soon be able to view a sea of Broncos from the street!" Took a bit longer than I hoped, but it's finally happening!!!
