I sincerely DO want to be schooled on this. I've owned Quattro Audis (2002 A4) and have had my Nissan since 2015. While one is AWD and the other is RWD except of course in 4H/L, both of these vehicles tend toward understeer so that's how I drive them. Seems you are saying it's more of a drive...
Thanks for the PDF, really comprehensive and well done!
My suggestion: It's probably a safe assumption (though still an assumption) that sport has increased throttle response and eco has decreased throttle response. Just might be nice for some to see if they have never owned a car with 'drive...
The graphic on that center button on the drive dial is interesting. I'm guessing on the manual it'll just be the 'regular' hill descent control icon (as in pretty standard across vehicles that have that feature).
Ahhh the nice part of North Park. Used to live around there (north of University), now near SDSU.
Man your writeup about the manual, and this comment, got me so (much more) excited about my rig!
If they’re offering adaptive cruise on the 7MT I can’t imagine that wouldn’t offer regular cruise.
My father’s manual ‘93 Dodge Dakota had cruise control as did my manual 2010 Audi A3. With that car, it would automatically cancel if you pressed in the clutch so that was nice.
Thanks man! I figured if I watched those BN videos I could probably figure it out, but I was being lazy :) . You're always a good voice of authority and reason on here!
I don’t have kids, but this is a damn good reason to own a manual! My father bought a ‘93 Dodge Dakota pickup, manual, largely to teach me how to drive manual. I learned to drive on that truck and I’ve been thankful for that ever since.
Yesterday placed an order like yours, 2 door BL 7MT.
Yes I would say your dealer screwed it up. I mean I only have my one experience to go off of, but I ordered a 2 dr. Badlands and the summary matches my built exactly. Go to ford.com and see if your order shows. Admittedly, ford.com didn't show all the details, but it did show trim.
Good news...
The number/type of goat modes is determined by the trim (BD, BL, OBX, etc.), not necessarily the auto 4x4 (page 2 of attachment). I don't know if going squatch, which gets you auto 4x4, increases or changes the goat modes by itself.
Coming from a 2012 Nissan Frontier, the plastic dash will not be a problem for me lol.
OP, also very interested in any more impressions about the manual!
PSA: Seeing several posts here that allude to, or outright state, using trail turn assist on dry pavement. It cannot be used on dry pavement. I know many of you know that, but for sure some don't realize it, or forgot. Just don't want anyone to be let down when they try it with their new...
Definitely an off road novice. I’ve taken my truck on a few light trails but anyway.
Just looked up what portal hubs are. 🤯😃🤯. Man those are mind-blowing levels of cool!
I used to have an XC40 R-design. The black looks good there but I agree not on the Bronco. I prefer the MIC. I think for a glossy finish, I only want that if it's body color (for me CO). That might be too much CO for my tastes though so I'll prob stick with the MIC, MAYBE white once I seem them...
Pics are so awesome! Thanks @618TRVLWILD and Stig!!
Since we're talking about lights here, I don't see where the high beams are in this pic. Am I missing something? I don't see it on the left steering wheel stalk either. Maybe it's on the right stalk?
