I spoke with him too. Sounds like the 2 door system is different than the 4 door, with the short and long racks being different. So not modular like the 4 door. Disappointing, as it looks like exactly what I wanted. Iāve heard other express a desire for modularity in a low profile rack...
I like the rack, Iām deciding between it and the TrailRax. Reviews on the BAT long rack says you can remove the front and be left with the rear only config. Anyone know if thatās the case? It would seal the deal for me.
Really nice install. How does that antenna perform? Iāve read some so-so comments elsewhere.
Could the USB-C be used to power a walkie-talkie charger? Iām thinking of dropping a couple into the glove box for others.
Iād love to see some pictures for the power wire routing. Thatās a big bundle to get from the front to back. Iām expecting a Black Diamond, so no carpet, washout floor. Not that Iād want this where people step on it, but Iām not sure how to route it via interior or exterior. An install...
I was trying to update my order, but Granger doesnāt come up in B&P for zip 50109. My ford.com page also has dropped them as my dealer. The dealer field is blank. Any idea whatās going on?
Nice to know the Sasquatch tires will fit the steelies. I hated giving them up on my BD to add Sasquatch. It looks like the standard flares are a must though, or the tires would be inset. Did it add height to the tires? Theyāre notorious for rock throwing - is that less of an issue now...
Iād like the same, but the 7.5ā width is really too narrow. I like the steelies too. Iāve looked around for similar wheels, but havenāt found any. The hot rod crowd has wheel specialists that can weld a wider rim on the wheel face. Not sure itās worth it, but Iād like to know if you find...

Heās in Costa Mesa. Not cheap, but a lot of folks trust him with very expensive cars. Heās always cared for my Porsches.
Indeed. I was told my order transferred. But my ford.com page shows the original dealer, yet the call center said they showed the new dealer. I place an order at a second dealer. At this point, Iāll just wait to see what happens. I really donāt care as long as they can speed delivery and...
Iād just like some wheels attached to a Bronco at this point. But Iād prefer satin. I plan to paint the rings first thing. What did you have in mind? Plastidip or a clear satin? Iāll keep an eye on what you do.
So two major issues with this for me. One, just the timing impact of the reservation time stamp. If Granger is overwhelmed, then a dealer with ā22 allocation is going to be faster, so thatās a wash. The other question is 2021 price protection - if it doesnāt transfer, do I lose my $900 price...
So based on this, it should be useable in California. Apparently they are now searching ECU logs during smog checks and failing vehicles with tunes. Just would want to double check thereās no way for the state to find it. Of course, I still need a Bronco, but there are plenty of threads...
Well, the key thing to understand is you really want to move your time stamp, not your order. You can walk in tomorrow and place a new order, but in theory youāre moving to the back of the line. But Ford effectively eliminated the time stamps with the ā22 allocation model. Dealers have more...
Great videos. But it does pose the question how you can turn off the parking sensors/alarms. That would drive me nuts on the trail. I didnāt notice it at off rodeo. Any experience?
The BaseSquatch I drove at Moab OffRodeo had a whistle when on the highway. I couldnāt figure out the source, but sounds common. Thereās another thread where someone reports fixing it with a black silicon caulk.
Speculation on my part, but Iām not sure they actually move orders. My Ford.com account still shows the original dealer, but I do have an order with the new dealer. If I get a Bronco, Iām not sure I care.
Iāve been thinking about this too. Mostly have been a tent camper, but my last outing in Moab seemed to be during gale force winds. Not good tent weather. Iām not sure a rooftop tent would be any better in those conditions.
I found the following setup on a Wrangler forum, where they used...
