Exactly, at this point I am stuck between either a BD with squatch or a Badlands with no options except 2.7. Gotta do whats in the budget. Decisions, decisions.
I find it interesting that on BD it lists the black painted modular top as available. I always thought general consensus was that it was not available on BD. I also find it interesting that it lists the grille and side mirrors as being painted black as well. If that holds true, I may be willing...
Looks great to me. Compare to some pics of a 2 door wranglers back seat. Big improvement.
I am getting the two door due to budget constraints and styling. We will manage.
My current internal debate is BD with 2.7, squatched, and standard pack.
Or BL stick, with a few accessories and standard pack.
Both are about the same price. I just wonder what resale will look like.
At least in the Jeep world, the Rubicon is always worth more than a Willys Sport. Squatch...
Same goes for me. Getting a base, but want the blue accents too. I will happily trade my black and gray ones with a frustrated outer banks or Black Diamond person.
They will do white, but I am not sure that I would go with it. The white would look good at first, but I'm afraid it would get stained or dingy over time. I don't have any experience with the pigmented versions, but I know it is possible.
It would be tough to paint. Lot of sanding and prep. Then it would likely peel down the road. Line-X typically adheres very well. Durability is just a bonus for me.
The other trim pieces aren't really dark black either though. Line-X may be too black. Why could Ford not have just got this...
