here’s the response from Ford on the latter:
Maybe every MT Owner who has purchased thus far should reach out for a refund due to the lost functionality(?). Might raise some eyebrows and get the issue some attention. I can see auto-start/stop disabling, but I have a lot of trouble seeing why...
Appreciate the update, @Squatch! This lines up well with our original thinking for wanting the rev-matching option (even if we’d disable it sometimes for fun)…we have a new driver that we’ll be teaching with this car. Our hope was to teach them to heel-toe, but enable the rev-matching for their...
In case the community wants to join forces on this: the contact information provided to me by Ford Performance for those who have already purchased the Tune was [email protected].
For anyone who hasn't yet purchased the tune, I would suggest reaching out to Ford Performance with "questions" and...
Ugh. Chalk me up as a sucker:
@FlavyPA & @Epiphany: Good thinking, but I can confirm that this does not work.
We bought the tune and had it installed by a dealer very much expecting rev-matching (it was the primary factor leading to the purchase). Then we brought it home today to discover it...
Hey @LethalPerformance! Any work around to the 2.3L calibration no longer offering rev-matching? This was a massive let-down in our house-hold to learn that the rev-match feature has been disabled by Ford on any ProCals updated since July 2024.
Just got our car back from the dealership after having the Ford Performance Tune installed, and it looks like this thread needs a revival as FORD HAS REMOVED REV-MATCHING FROM THE CALIBRATION(!). Unfortunately I now see a number of threads warning about some EPA non-sense, but the official...
Just a quick bump: Pulled the trigger this morning on the ProCal + Ford Performance Tune for the BaseSquatch & would love to swap out the console badge as an subtle OEM+ Modification.
Shoot me a PM if yours is sitting around after upgrading to a custom badge. Would love to take it off your hands!
UPDATE: SOLD!
NEW PHOTOS! Added in Post 12 below: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/2-dr-ford-performance-7mt-basesquatch-cpo-w-6-500-miles.101737/post-2577497
[Description Updated 7/9/2025] We've decided to sell our (beloved) 7MT Basesquatch in an effort to free up some room in the...
Love it! We use those same telescopic stairs for our pup. Works great as you can use them into the trunk or into the door and they store well in the back (even in 2-door). Love the Heritage Edition, too, btw!
Quick thought for everyone with the great photos of their pups in this thread: be sure your canine companion is in a secured crate or at least harnessed and tethered while driving, regardless of size! The (110-pound) dude shown here is only alive today because he was latched into our X5d when...
Bummer! Will have to keep an eye out for someone’s unused spare “Ford” top. Thanks, Crystal!
FWIW: If we’re tracking these things: I love the fastback style but would definitely prefer - full-drop-top design for our 2-Dr (regardless of shape). Part of me hesitates to bite on the current version...
Yes, indeed (at the moment). Which is why I’m hoping someone that went custom with their Raptor plate wouldn’t mind parting ways with their old generic plate collecting dust.
.
LMK if there are any takers (or—more specifically—sellers)!
I would think Ford may eventually offer it as a Ford Performance parts option (but they seem to have a lot of issues with parts supply to say the least). My general thought was that the Ford Performance pro-cal performance tune, hood struts, rear diff cover (more subtle than exterior stickers or...
I hear the same! But will gladly reimburse you for shipping ;-)
….on the other hand, perhaps the Raptor is free with the purchase of a $95k aluminum plate…
