  1. Orange Wrap. 3.5" Rough Country Lift. 37" Toyo Tires. 17" Black Rhino Wheels. 🖤🙏🏽🧡

OP, what was the reason for ordering cactus gray? Was it to save the cost of the CO paint option, knowing you were going to replace it anyway? Love the new color. Doesn't even look like a wrap!
  2. Bronco (2.7 engine) shut off on highway, left me on the side of the road

Haha she bought a BMW whatever-series (I couldn't care less about sports cars) and it's already been in the shop for a month. I'm coming from my fifth 4x4 Toyota (will always have a Tacoma) and my standard for reliability is set quite high. Having bought an 08 JKU to tide me over while waiting...
  3. Bronco (2.7 engine) shut off on highway, left me on the side of the road

My mother just ditched her Jag XJ convertible after, by her count (meaning the real number is higher), it had to be flat bedded 7 times. Jaguar is one of the most poorly designed brands, but a tow after only 23 miles sure takes the cake. But hey, I hear their service centers are very...
  4. Pennsylvania Anyone willing to sell their Bronco flag??

You can have mine. Zero use for it
  5. Just purchased the dealerships demo

What's "a little" in exact terms? Congrats on the Bronco - at least now you know when you'll be taking delivery!
  6. Upgrades! Areoskin hood protector, rocket antenna, heritage fender badge

It's just a good habit to protect personally identifiable information on a forum like this. Your plate ties to your home address, contact information, etc, and you never know what people might use that for.
  7. Bronco Sport rolls off Black Bear Pass

In this case, it sounds as if the seat belt might have trapped the driver for the whole tumble down the cliff. I instinctively buckle up, even if I'm just rearranging cars in my (flat) driveway. It's easier to make and abide by good habits. Except perhaps in this case. Thank goodness nobody was...
  8. Pics: Ford Accessory Hood Scoop and Fender Flares by Air Design installed on 2021 Bronco 2-Door Big Bend

Pretty tacky bolt-on junk with no function. Other manufacturers do it, but most of those vehicles candidly emphasize form over function; the Bronco is meant to be an extremely capable off roader. Decorate your rig how you like. This just isn't for me. It kinda reads on the road as "I need my...
  9. Ford engineers should just stop and ask why? It’s not hard.

This is a safety issue, where a person or pet could be caught in the closing window. Most auto makers have automatically retracting windows, and not the other way around, for the same reason. My 4Runner key fob would lower the rear window, but not raise it, for this reason as well.
  10. Reasonable, Patient Person Weakening

When did you reserve? Thinking the supply would only be exceeded by the demand for a short time, and not wanting a unit from the initial run, I only reserved in June and ordered the first week of July 2021. Boy, was I wrong about lead times. I'm hoping to have mine sometime in 2022, but there's...
  11. Dealer not selling me my Bronco

This makes the original point rather neatly
  12. Dealer not selling me my Bronco

Question: did OP at any point consider the morality of this before questioning the legality of the dealer's action? I agree the dealer has no legal basis for this course, absent specific language in the purchase agreement to the contrary, but morality should intercede prior to legality. If you...
  13. Anyone Order A New Bronco July 2021?

Jeep had already been manufacturing a very similar vehicle for decades, so they probably didn't have to retool a plant (or plants) to the same extent as Ford has to produce the new Bronco. Designing the manufacturing process, sourcing the new parts/materials, testing procedures, regulatory...
  14. Anyone Order A New Bronco July 2021?

Don't be rude if you don't want to help. You could have wasted less time by not posting.
  15. Entire process steps

I was able to place an order with my dealer and they said there was no way it would be a MY21 (the order was submitted the last week of June), so you're right in that you can't specify MY22 since that order bank won't open until September. It's just overwhelmingly likely that you'll get rolled...
  16. Entire process steps

Your dealer is misinformed, which is why I had to create a second reservation and cancel my initial one. Your order must be placed with your dealer in person, where you select every option you want on your prospective vehicle. By the end of the sit-down, you will walk away with an order...
  17. 2022 Order time frame?

Placed my order with Maxwell Ford in Austin, TX today! I have the term sheet in hand and will share it with the other dealer - they're losing out if they think they can't place orders right now. Key detail: the MY2022 order bank hasn't opened, but dealers can submit orders to the factory, and...
  18. 2022 Order time frame?

Update: Maxwell Ford in Austin, TX is claiming that are placing orders for MY22's right now. I'm heading there this afternoon to see if this is true (their idea of "order" might be different, but their Internet Sales Manager did confirm in no uncertain terms that they are sending orders to the...
  19. 2022 Order time frame?

Covert Ford in Austin told me MY2022 banks won't open up until December, since (according to them) the new options won't go live until November. Should I call their BS and shop my reservation around to other dealers, or have folks here heard a similar timeline from their dealers?
