Mine are a pretty recent addition and I kind of like them, though I do admit I have the same issue, distracting to see some movement in my peripheral vision...
So light pressure, that I found the easiest way was just to use a phillips screwdriver bit (like you would use in your electric drill) and just turn the bit itself with my fingertips! ANY pressure at all on mine would have them just spin instead of getting them to back out.
Bummed I missed out on the BroncoDepot badges, but ordered and will try the OCDplug ones for now. It doesn't sound like they are as nice as the BroncoDepot ones, but I guess I'll give them a try...
(If anyone has an extra set of the BroncoDepot gloss black badges they would be willing to sell...
Sorry guys... I must have had one of the last non-delayed Broncos from our build week. You are getting close!
My dates just for reference:
2022 Wildtrak , 2-door, Race Red
2.7L EcoBoost, Sasquatch package
Reserved: 7/14/20
Order date (original): 03/16/2021
Order date (revised, 2022 MY)...
So it's ok to have a $50K Bronco that has cloth, manual seats and virtually no 'luxury' features because it's a, you know, Bronco, but not ok to have a Defender with entry level leather and without say walnut trim for $58K because its a, you know, Luxury vehicle?
I guess I don't give one crap...
D90 Turbo 4 starts at $53K. Turbo 6 starts at $63K. A zero option version of either of these comes out at about a Wildtrak High or Lux level of trim and features.
Most of the features that can really load up the price is stuff that isn't even available in the Bronco lineup like high end...
I like it. I've owned both Bronco's and LR's in the past and have some connection to both... My Wildtrak 2-door finally came through about a month ago, but during the wait I seriously considered a Defender 90 P300. Even a no-option Defender compares favorably on a feature basis with a fairly...
Wow. Here I was thinking maybe I jumped the gun a bit doing my own semi-custom flaps as there were no good alternatives and wondering if I should have waited a few more weeks....
But I like mine *far* more than the Weathertech's (and far more than the $400 gatorbacks as well).
Those look great!
I didn't have the patience to order the connectors from Mouser, but rummaging through my connector box I found some Molex KK series 3-pin header strips (middle pin is unused) that were a perfect match for the pin alignment on the factory connectors, but without the shell.
I...
OK, looking at the weathertech website for the Broncos, it looks like they have they currently have two and only two part numbers for Bronco mud flaps.
Front mud flaps, #110140, $39.95.
These are selected if you choose Wildtrak. Also selected if you choose non-Wildtrak with "315 width tires"...
It looks like the front mudflaps are the same part number if you choose Wildtrak or non-Wildtrak with 315 width tires, part #110140.
If you choose Wildtrak, it also shows rear flaps as available, part #120140, but that option doesn't show up if you choose non-Wildtrak with 315 width. Possibly a...
Quick update... Looks like the Colorado factory store / warehouse has neither the mud flaps or rubber mats actually available for pickup right now, not terribly surprising if its a brand new product, so I won't be heading up to pick up a set today.
If anyone orders and receives them soon, post...
Interesting...
I gave up on a near-term solution for reasonably priced, custom-fit, sasquatch-compatible front mud flaps and fit my own using the plasticolor universal flaps. That solution is working well, but I'm curious about these weathertech ones, especially with their super-reasonable...
I've previously used those electric hoists previously to lift/store dirt bikes to get them out of the way, plenty strong. Overkill really, as i think the Bronco top is ~80# for the two-door without the panels and actually even lighter (68#) for the four-door version without the panels. Still...
