I appreciate it. Keep sending photos, but I am done with grey cars. My last truck was a 4-door Nissan Titan in grey. It was involved in three major accidents three times, all the fault of the other driver. In addition to the accidents, I have never had so many near misses with any other...
It is December 26th and final orders are expected in January. Yet, this letter was delivered on December 22nd. Even if the units were already built, I doubt dealers could get them before January 15th. Either they will may not arrive in time for a test drive or Ford is planning another delay.
The goal of this exercise appears to be selection of the best tire for the Outer Banks. There seems to be a lot of assumptions here. There is nothing wrong with that, but if the selected tire fits and does not rub under articulation, then it seems that our selection process is a much simpler...
Okay. So I can have an MIC top or an MIC top that has been painted. I am inclined to just get the MIC top. If I want to change the color, we can always vinyl wrap it or paint it. I would like to know more about the painted top.
@NayNay If I find that to be true, it will trigger an immediate change in dealership. I understand the process and expect things to change, but I will not tolerate misleading information. I consider my relationship with a dealer to be a long-term relationship. If there is no trust, there is...
I reached out to Sheehy Ford, in Richmond, Virginia last week. They had a Bronco event planned for December 3rd. They just found out from Ford that the event has been postponed until Q1 2021. They suspect many other events in the region will be postponed as well. This is a Ford decision, not...
I have used WeatherTech floor mats in Nissan Titan. No more. The are made of hard plastic and do not wear well. They show wear within a year, even after a thorough cleaning. I purchased OEM rubber mats for my new vehicle. Two years in and no visible signs of wear. If Ford offers rubber...

None of this surprises me. This has been expected all along. Ford sells vehicles through dealers (AKA distributors). They do not sell direct, like Tesla. They cannot display favoritism to smaller dealers, just because they are willing to work the system. In the end, that would be bad...
@Greg Helmick Keep me in the loop. This is only two hours from me. Please provide an update on how responsive they are throughout the process. Any discounts?
I am guessing carpet. I believe Wildtrack has carpet. Most vehicles that expect to ford water will have rubber floors and manual seats. You don't want the electronics getting wet from exterior water or washing the interior.
