WTF was Ford thinking when they did that? Thankfully it was fixed on the update in 2020 Escape (my mom has one)-my Wife's Bronco Sport is easy to get to too.
I did the same with her 2017 Escape-got the dealership to do it because of it being under a cover and the cowling of the windshield.
oh so they dropped it as an option the Big Bend then-that was one of the reasons I went with my Big Bend Vs the Outer Banks when I ordered mine back in 2022.
I had Ruby Red on my 2013 SHO and it chipped like a mofo-I'd hate to see how it holds up on an potential off road vehicle. It looks great, but doesn't hold up well-at least on my last car.
The market is pretty soft for high priced vehicles, so the might, but I don't think they'll have many people who bite on that
I'm guessing that there will be a 4 door equivalent to this that replaces it.
Ford is never going to put a manual transmission on the V6 Bronco because there is no other product that needs/uses it to help off set costs plus the vehicle needs to be redone for CAFE/EPA certifications which increases the cost.
I've had my Bronco for about 2 1/2 years now and I'm on windshield number 2 with only about 18K on it. I don't drive it that much-I was going into work 2 days a week till July and been working from home since they due to building issues.
First one happened in the first couple of weeks having...
Maybe because you had shit ton of smog in southern California and other things like eliminating lead from fuel? Lots of things are useful, but nor are they safe for people either.
burning less fuel is directly related to how much emissions are emitted out of a tailpipe.
See your completely missing the point here
Ford needs to sell products that make money for them and meeting different government regulations around the world.
Whatever you do with them post sale, no body gives F about that-go ahead and spend 100k or so on putting a diesel in or a 7.3L V8. Your...
You might be creating more problems doing that-on the older modular V8s, if you ran heavier weight oil, it would balloon out the oil filer on the bottom. The Bronco (at least on the V6) use an internal filter cartage so I'd hate to think were that extra pressure would be getting applied to...
I hate to say this, but your a dumbass
First off Ford has to comply with government regulations and diesel is going away in the EU because of several different reasons.
If they ever offered a diesel in the US, it wouldn't see because the upkeep and cost of fuel would make it financially...
Ford used to have suggested trim level stockings in their order guides years back. It used be like say 10% base, 20% next trim up and of course the higher end models where only like 10% of suggested stock levels.
I'm assuming you had a Pacifica-couple things to keep in mind:
It has a larger batter 16 Kwh vs almost 12 in the ROW Ranger
The Pacifica has some aerodynamic advantages over a pickup too.
Well eventually we will most likely get something very similar in the Bronco and of course the Ranger in a few years
