Down the road the reservoirs could start falling off. Once they fall out it becomes easier to warranty but I expect a lot of owners will have reservoirs falling off out of warranty once these vehicles get older. It's unfortunate but these shocks are designed extremely cheaply. I'm surprised...
Man it's depressing that after all these years, the tops are still defective. It's getting to the point where it appears that this approach to building a hardtop simply isn't sound.
I personally wouldn't have an issue with 2 door pricing being the same as 4 door pricing because I'm an outlier as a consumer and if the two door costs more, then even I may have a decision on my hands. Equal or more money for less space is a recipe for failure in the North American automotive...
No point in getting upset as Ford simply offers what's dictated by the market. Two door vehicles are becoming endangered and now reserved almost exclusively for sports coups which in itself is an endangered segment. Heck Honda had been offering coupe versions of the Accord and Civic for...
Nah. It's for rattling 100%. Plenty of manufacturers use foam around speakers that are mounted close enough to the grill that vibrations can be transferred under low frequecies. Foam is not used to conduct or direct sound waves as it can actually absorb them.
All dealers should have pricing. I ordered my 2025 weeks ago. There is a dealer in Ontario that has pricing on their site if you search. I can confirm that pricing matches
what my local dealer had for pricing. Just build the model you want on the link below and that’s MSRP...
Films don't typically adhere well to textured plastic so no chance to get that on a MIC top but I would expect that there should be no issues installing film on a painted MOD top. Maybe Ford just didn't want the overhead of carrying film for the painted tops that are likely low volume sellers...
Automakers made record profits during the pandemic and realized that higher margins/low volume > high volume/low margin. One difference is that today there's now inventory on most dealer lots so buyers can be a lot more selective than they were during COVID. I just don' think a lot of people...
I disagree as how much people care is directly proportional to what they are paying for goods. People paying $30k for for an Escape have completely different expectations from people paying $70k for an SUV. Go on BMW and Audi forums and you will see lots of threads of extremely nitpicky stuff...
The reality is that a $100k Ford has the exact same build quality as the cheapest base Ford Escape. I still remember a co-worker parking his brand new GT350 next to another co-worker's Ecoboost Mustang and they both had the exact same panel gaps and front rear bumper sagging. Conversely a Ford...
Yeah Aztek comparison is overboard but but those fender flares just kill the look for me as they look like something you would find on AliExpress. As long as you like it and are happy with it, that's all that matters as my opinion is just internet noise.
I can't believe those exposed hinges made it into the final design. I haven't even noticed the rest of the vehicle as I can't take my eyes of just how unsightly those hinges are. Simply awful design choice.
Yeah it sucks to have to spring for an extra $1k for the painted top on a vehicle that's already inflated in price but in the long run will be well worth it to avoid MIC top issues. It's why I held out until 2025 to order the Badlands I wanted (well that and the LCD instrument cluster).
I'm in Canada and I have no idea how that factors in, or if this list is US destined Broncos only. Also it appears that more manual transmissions have been ordered than expected as almost half the 2.3L orders are with the manual transmission.
