Man it turned out awesome! We had a really cool group - 5 rigs. Super nice change up from doing everything solo. @Gotchaa knew the area very well. We went through several other areas after we got into Big Bear as well.
I'm planning to hit up White Mountain and possibly Gold if time permits...
Update: The R button started working a few days ago seemingly for no reason. It worked for those 3-4 days and it's back out again. I find that disconnecting the battery does absolutely nothing in my specific case. I did once get a message that I was not quick enough to get a picture of that I...
Looks awesome - that box is really nice! My only question is how does this do with rattling? Mine already sounds like I have subs with all the rattles and random shaking noises. Did you have to Dynamat it well?
Just as a follow up, I left it disconnected for several hours and still no R button. All other buttons on the steering wheel appear to be working just fine - so odd.
I didn't time it but I would say right around the 10 minute mark. Maybe I try again and leave it off for longer. I'll let the group know if that helps - appreciate the response!
Mine has been out about a week. Saw the battery disconnect fix on another forum somewhere through Google search results and didn't fix it for me. I used this every start. Too many issues for a 6 week old car with 1800 miles.
Appreciate the response. This will be a lot easier - just keep it around 20 with speeds down if I leave the dirt temporarily. Sometimes being solo I'm just not sure so hearing others experiences is very helpful.
Thanks again, bud.
I do everything solo so it's probably 75-100 lbs. of gear max + me and I'm not a big guy. This is with the stock 17" bead lock wheels and 37" tires. I'm inclined to believe I do not need to air up as often as I do but I'll just keep doing it until I have reason not to as I've had no problems at...
Hello friends-
I wanted to ask what some may consider a dumb question. I do all of my work solo and am not sure what is the lowest safe psi in the tires to drive the Bronco Raptor on paved road?
Sometimes I encounter stretches of pavement between trails- highways, etc. I'm wondering if it's...
@Shrek27 Yeah shoot me a message and we can set something up. My plan was to end in Big Bear so if weather is a big factor I may just skip it this weekend as well.
@Shrek27 I was considering hitting up Bronco Knoll early Friday and then exploring from there. I may also be down for the Burns trip too depending on when.
@Neps Appreciate the response - really good info. I am still taking it pretty easy because I'm always solo. Will look into the recommended sites as well.
@Arrowbear Rider Mojave Rd. was one people were telling me not to do alone lol - I definitely want to do that. Yeah I think all of the runs must've sold out which makes sense - probably the most popular part.
@Arrowbear Rider I'm going to skip this one but feel free to keep me in mind for others you might find. Seems the only thing listed is attendance, I didn't see anything about trail runs or camp sites. Thanks again, bud!
@Arrowbear Rider I went to explore registration and it appears the site is down right now but I will keep an eye on it - very possible I attend if there's room.
@Arrowbear Rider I haven't been on that specific trail with the Bronco yet but I have been camping and shooting in Calico for the better part of 20 years. One of my favorite places for camping and target practice - save for the summer. I basically stay out of Calico in the summer months due to...
